Bubba coming out in a wig and playing a guitar to Bon Jovi's "Dead or Alive"

Is this Supercross or the WWE?

New level of corny IMO.

It was pretty funny the first time he did it, but with each round the corniness increases ten-fold.

Why do they use that same stupid song every single time? He's "Rick James Stewart", not "Jon Bon James Stewart". WTF?

I thought it was little embarrassing. It's hard to take the actual racing very serious when they start it off with that stuff. I realize it may draw in more kids/parents who don't even ride for the entertainment value though.

supercross has officially jumped the shark...... we all knew that when basically a big concert promoter took it over that sx was going to turn into a circus eventually..... barely any racing.... F'n freestyle half-time show....... 40 second lap times....... very little racing, lots of circus..... not worth the money to see in person...... barely watchable on tv.... i used to drive to 3 or more sx's a year...... this year is the first year i've truly thought about hitting zero.....

I was at Houston, and it was funny there. But it's the kind of thing that's really only funny once because you don't know it's coming. Time to do something new - maybe have Motodude come out in a "#1 Reed Fan" tshirt and hump a sheep on top of the finish line jump.

Would the sheep have a number 7 on it?

I thought it was cool.

I've seen it twice, I don't want to see it again... but the casual fans love it.

It's crap like this that makes outsiders look at our sport and laugh. It is the reason why other sports have big title sponsors and we have a retarded energy drink as a sponsor. Also, the fireworks this year have been so over the top it's ridiculous...did anyone see Reed on the live show plugging his ears during his introduction when the fireworks went off? Whoever is in charge of making all of these decisions is way out of touch.

The big question- Is it saveable. Will it ever go back to being about the racing or is it just going to get worse as time passes. They are packing the stadiums. The people in charge probably don't think anything is the matter. I'm afraid it is going to be more of a circus with shorter races and less racing overall. Sad

If SX ever gets into the mainstream it'll be the biggest joke ever.

I say screw appealing to the masses and focus on integrity.

Yanks can't tell you guys apart, you all sound alike.

I've always wanted to go to New Zealand, but I didn't know THEY were the sheep abusers. I'll have to change my plans.

So let me get this straight. You guys think supercross has become more of a circus show with riders coming out in wigs and 10 minute mains and doth protest. YET, you want girls parading around with big tits, bending over and shaking it for your entertainment?
