MXDadFL Started a new thread Tyson Hadsell - What Happened?
1/21/2022 1:23pm Semi-new to Florida (since 1995), but I thought he had it on the way up with BSY Yamaha. What is the story and where is he these days? I remember him in the teens in the Lites SX class...

MXDadFL Started a new thread Fastest non-pro Vital member?
1/27/2012 3:36pm OK, excluding the current and past pros on here...who is the fastest Vital rider? For now, let's limit this to MX...not hare scrambles or other forms...just MX... Who wants to throw their hat in first? What displacement and class did you graduate to and how good were/are you? He he... this should be fun... Oh yeah, post a pic of...

MXDadFL Started a new thread Overall Champion SX/MX
1/27/2012 7:45am I don't post often, but the whole debate on SX or MX brings out my selfish desire... Remember the old Grand National Champion? Well, we need to bring it back... I love anything moto, but being oldschool, I prefer pure MX. So, I'd like to see an OVERALL Season Champion. This could only be awarded to a rider who participated...

MXDadFL Started a new thread There are Great People in this world...
1/27/2012 4:02am OK, I'll try to make this short, but I feel it is fantastic to recognize good people! I bought a 2005 KTM 525EXC from a guy who PM'ed me on KTM talk. We reached a deal on price an I bought the bike. A short time later, I see oil blowing out from the head/header. Guess what? The seller offers...

MXDadFL Started a new thread Over Achievers & Under Achievers
1/20/2012 2:21pm When I think of who has had success in MX/SX, it is easy to see why some become winners/champions. Excluding current pro racers, who are your top 3 over achievers? An over achiever flies in under the radar and dramatically exceeds any expectation the general fanbase had for him... 1. Bob Hannah - remember Bevo's "Who the hell is Bob...

MXDadFL Started a new thread I can't believe I'm pulling for Reed...
1/18/2012 2:07am …I’m NOT a huge Reed fan, but he has the sack to compete despite a VERY close loss in the SX series. I was a bigger Stewart fan than Reed fan, but JBS is losing ground with me. Why? Because when you get older, the money you made today will not mean nearly as much as the regret you have...

MXDadFL Started a new thread Maybe a repeat, but RC was good

5/19/2009 6:32pm jeffro503, James is a good guy, but I believe he is mislead by others in some of his decisions. James will eventually regret not racing the 2009 Outdoor Nationals. It won't be this year, but he will regret it. It is human nature to blame others for misguided direction, but James must do what will make him satisfied today, but...

4/16/2016 11:59pm axel57, Skill and talent are quite different than heart. RC and Bob Hannah had more heart than anyone. How many guys out there thrive on racing the best? They may not win, but they compete to see where they are and know inside themselves where they stand in history. Another guy who never backed down from a fight was Magoo...
MXDadFL Added a reply to James Stewarts KX 125!
2/22/2009 8:23pm Ha ha... I'd love to have his "old" bike in my garage. I wouldn't want to embarass it by trying to ride it. It would probably load up with how slow I'd go...! Shaun

4/16/2016 10:37pm Geez...is it wrong for me to say I was pulling for Stroupe over Pourcel since he is an American? I'm honest that I want to continue my belief that WE are the best in the sport we developed? USA, USA, USA... Shaun

4/16/2016 10:37pm Trick, I understand where you are coming from. But from personal experience, when you work so hard for something, it is hard to settle for 2nd. I predict CR picking it up and pressuring JS into mistake(s). No, I'm not a pro racer, but from life experience, it is hard to settle when you are that competative. I may well...

2/22/2009 7:55pm Ha ha...are you saying he was one? Shaun

2/22/2009 7:51pm Hmm, I wish the financial market was as sure as your take on the SX season! Do you really believe CR has given in to JS? If so, I don't think you are giving CR the honest credit he deserves. Can you imagine working your entire life to get to this level and give in? Second is a small margin...
Brock is an excellent role model for the sport. Clean cut, great work ethic, but unfortunately, fragile with respect to injuries. Call it bad luck, trying too hard, whatever. The bottom line is the sport is better with him than without him. I find it hard for anyone to disagree with that. Shaun
MXDadFL Added a reply to Pile up all REED excuses here...
2/22/2009 7:37pm Scott, I agree. One of two situations will hapen - JS crashes or CR turns it up. CR has done it before and each upcoming round should be exciting. CR can't throw it away or he risks the chance to capitalize on JS's potential mistake(s). I can't wait until next weekend... Shaun

2/22/2009 7:21pm Can you imagine giving your personal best, all that you have, and finishing second? Man, that must be tough to deal with. Not only that, coming out the next week to do it all over again! I respect Chad! He is second, but if he beats JS straight up, the story may be quite different moving forward. The mental swing...
MXDadFL Added a reply to great bobble pass, ditto
2/22/2009 6:55pm 2009 outdoors would be great with the three. It doesn't appear to be the case, but I wish we could pressure all three to compete. Otherwise, we'll wait until 2010 in SX... Shaun

2/22/2009 6:47pm OK, granted, NEVER is a term we should not use, but you get my point. RV will win in the 450s, we all know that. It will be fantastic to see RV, JS and CR next year... Shaun
