KTM would LOVE to have Webb in '19. He rides SX/MX equally well and he's still super young.

Where does Malcolm Stewart fit into all of this? An in shape Mookie with a full offseason of testing and training with a factory team could be a SERIOUS threat for a few race wins...
Malcolm had all summer AND off season last year and didn't show up in shape and serious, so I bet it will be the same this year. It would not surprise me if he made a lame attempt at SX but would fizzle out and disappear long before the season was over. We will see what happens at the MEC race for both Stewart's because that may be the last time we see either of them if they even do the MEC.

At this point I don't see why any team would want to pay Barcia factory money. He's only riding decent right now because his contract is up soon! JGR has had about as much trouble with him as they did JS7.

How many 250 guys are moving up next year? Gonna be hard for everyone to find a spot.

Yeah. The only bet Malcolm has is an own team by himself or with James.

There is a problem when a rider is healthy and has over 6 months to get prepared and can't make it happen. We saw some flashes of speed and even a few good results from him but it wasn't a good rookie season, what could he do if he would take things seriously? I would love to see it but he can't expect to have teams calling him for a ride.

He said in the transworld interview he took it easy and fished all summer. Sums it up.

barcia will stay at jgr I think. he got engaged with his girl, so I guess he will bring her over then.

ktm, well they should go very cheap for '18 so they throw all their cash at webb in '19. I'd like to see bloss at the factory team and training with marvin, anderson and co.

also, please, please someone give fast freddy noren a good ride! the guy kills it year after year outdoors out of a bloody van.
I don't think Gajser will be in the US next year

Ferris will be somewhere.

Barcia on a 350 in his current form would battle for wins outdoors and in. Probably wouldn't run out of fuel either

I dont think anyone is implying that, people will ride the Yamaha if choosen/asked/contracted to be on the factory team, I think its that simple.

Has Tickle had and every week? Honestly don't know when he last completed a season. For some reason i always picture him as injured a lot.

Juice, Do you think Barcia's bike looks like its handling much better the past few rounds?
I am certainly not a bike set up guru but i think it looks much better. Earlier in the season it looked like a shopping kart compared to the others around him.

I think some team is gonna get the call for a rider, Rockstar for ando or ozzy or butler for bb4, to good a ride to turn down and no guys to choose from other then them. Red bull will be a lonely tent with marv if those guys don't hop over. Strings will be pulled, the sounds will ring the Internet like a bell. Will be a great week here on vital.

Probably wouldnt take justin after his last ktm stint.

I think barcia goes to the gps to be close to his new missus.
When did Barcia ever ride for KTM?

I'm no expert in that department but I believe his bike has been fine all season. Like I said he's riding his ass off at the moment because his contract is ending.

Well, his rookie season has been really bad for a guy that is supposed to be the "next guy". Riders that becomes champions and generational champions does not go through a season in this kind of mediocre manner.

The asterisk for him is the bike. He will be fine if it's only the YZF 450 that holds him back but he is in trouble if it is the 450 in general.

It will be interesting to watch him ride the 18. Tonus looked good on it in Loket on Sunday.
Respectfully, I don't agree with any of this. At all. Have you ever heard of Eli Tomac or James Stewart? They had rough rookie 450 seasons.

The bike is not Cooper's problem. Cooper is not 450 Outdoor podium ready. Period.

So if Tickle goes to KTM, I quess Zacko will have another dominant year in the 250's.

How much would you pay for Zach to run the # 1 plate on a Husky all year ?

Tickle is an awesome choice. He's got heaps of potential and talent, great fitness, and can battle with the best when he's "on." His main issue seems to be confidence, and I truly believe if that's worked on, and he avoids injury, he could be solid top 5 every weekend.

I think that is a very safe investment there if it happens. Plus putting Tickle on a great bike with a great team could be a fresh change for him at KTM with some solid finishes if he does indeed go there.

I'm confused on the "regain some respect after RC left" comment.

I'm not sure I agree.

I like Broc, but looking at his career, especially since moving up, he's all but guaranteed to get bad starts, and right after he finally lands a podium, will get injured.

KTM, "needs" to win, so if he has that year there, he's probably one and done when they open the chequebook for whoever the next kid is – Plessinger, Hill, AC, Savatgy, Osborne, Martin or even McElrath.

At RCH, they have shown they're about people etc, and have stood by him. I'd have bet he could do another 3 years there the same way before either side got unhappy.

Good chance of that.
