I like the sand in the vagina comment.

guyb needs to realized the fans are expecting more from Chad Reed this year. For the past five years he is top three guy but now RC is gone he can take home all the glory. His previous championships were not straight up. He has yet to prove he is the champ by challenges not default.

I would tell Chad Reed to his face I am dissapointed. It's time for him to step up or step out.

Why don't u take your own advice......Smile

Not straight up c'ships'......... WTF???????????????????

I thought U were about 6 years old but i over estimated......

Step out? Um. Why does everyone forget, that, Chad is leaps and bounds ahead of the rest of the field. So if chad should "step out", We should have some fun 1 man main events. Because if you think he should step out, then that means every other rider should too.

He will never get credit for being 2nd. Yet, he is that much faster than everyone else out there. Its a joke.

Bring on the james Stewart Main events. 1 Rider. 20 Gates. 1 Winner.

Not at all. We have 20 riders, 20 gates, 1 winner.

If Chad "steps out" And everyone else would obviously be gone by then. We would only need, 1 heat, 1 main. 1 rider heats, 1 rider mains.

Reed racing that series is like Lebron James playing in a city league in the off season...

Maybe MxDaD324 should line up a triple and then we can see who really has a "sandy vagina".

In his recent Cycle News interviews he said it is still on the cards, i don't know how that works with his commitment to race his SuperX series BUT i'm sure he does and he has hinted at the Nationals for quite a while now.

I hope he races the Nats. he's fast as hell outdoors as well.

If the dates for SuperX are the same as this year then he will be able to race if he decides too.

I don't see it happening though. That would mean pretty much year round racing.

CR said never say never regarding racing the US outdoors, he loves nationals if it wasnt for all the bullshit that surrounds them. I'm not sure about the Au SX series being run at the same time as the US Nats either, so I see a posibility of it happening.

To all the shit for brains trying to piss on our little series down here, just stop and think for a minute (I know its hard for you pinheads to do that) where Reed, Metcalfe, Byrne, McFarlane, Reardon, Moss, Marmont....came from, yeah, that pissy little race series we have!

Australians are lucky to have their successful own (CR), return home and do something to promote the sport that took him to financial wealth and stardom.

Here in South Africa we have Albertyn, Langston and one or two others that have risen to reasonable success and just never bothered to come back home and do something remotely close to what Chad is doing in his home country, with his own money and time.

Chad definitely deserves a round of applause for that.

You guys are right. We should just cancel the rest of the SX season and give the title to Stewart.

Bring on the Nats.

Funny how every single thread related to Reed (and/or Stewart) seems to turn into a slanging match Sad

Try as I might, I can't fault Chad Reed for wanting to spend a good part of his year on his home continent and growing the sport there.

Think about it - if you were a factory rider, and the most prestigious outdoor title in the world was the Zimbabwe National Championships, would you grind out a few more years in the prime of your career there? Or, would you take a chance and try to start your own series back home where you are comfortable and the sports is still very grassroots?

I applaud Chad for doing what he wants. Pros are not bringing people to the sport. The sport brings people to the pros. If you think them not racing the outdoors is going to have any effect on local racing, you are out of touch.

You cant knock Reed wanting to start something back in Aus, but surely the whole point of working your ass off to get a factory ride is to compete in the "most prestigious outdoor title in the world", as you call it. Especially in your prime!

He should use his Rockstar Makita Suzuki for what it was meant for, which is going head to head, outdoors against the other top American factory bikes. He'll have all the time in the world to promote the sport back in Australia when he can no longer compete at the top level.
