Great first outing a race before he originally had planned. I was extremely happy and impressed with his first race back.

Great having Trey back in the mix, that was probably his best showing so far on the KTM.

I wonder what hes going to do next year. Has he gelled with the bike at all? I could see him going to the Rocky Mtn Butler bros KTM team and having a lot less pressure on him. He'd basically have a factory KTM still and his personal sponsors like Fly, Scott goggles, and A-Stars boots also sponsor the team. Hopefully he gets one more shot instead of hanging it up at the end of the year.

Unreal how many times he gets hurt and comes back and is in the mix right off the bat like he left off. Always that what if he hadn't had all those injuries to see what he could have accomplished. Dude is a true talent.

Good one. Really, it was super funny just like the other 5,000 times the exact comment has been made.

Has to be one of the best of coming back from an injury and immediately being at top ten speed. Saying that, always holding my breath that he doesn't hurt himself again...

You know, all the talk about KTM dropping Trey next year a la Dean Wilson...after how he came back early and looked pretty great last Saturday, I have a feeling that he'll sign again with them for 2018 & maybe beyond. The guy is such a huge talent, and is as good a PR guy as Dungey was, always smiling and has a great personality. Shoot with Musquin & Canard on the team, it's like "Team Nice-Guys" again!

Yeah but Trey Canard is the real Ronnie Mac.
Ronnie's not very nice, he's a brutally honest guy who just tells it like it is.

Hefty wage to be paying for someone to be sat on the couch for the majority of the year though. As nice a guy and as quick as he is, they will weigh up his ridiculous number of injuries that keep him off the bike in comparison with a rider who doesn't have quite as much bad luck.

Villopoto and Dungey would have less titles if Trey could have stayed on the bike. Ah the great "what if."

Something something sprocket bolts, pizzas and naps.......Tongue

Good for Trey. I'm happy he did ok and truly hope this is the last comeback from injury he has to do before he retires, healthy.
