I just go dual brakes cbf'd with separate.

Game is really fun and great sense of speed....IMO the 2 strokes, they could have left them out because the sound is diabolical.
It's really fucking atrocious. The last patch notes listed "improved 2-stroke sound" but seriously it's terrible. They sound okay off bottom but just rev way too high into this terrible shrieky 1990's game sound.

If they nailed the sound I'd play nothing but 2-stroke but nup...horrible.

Anyone download it on xbox one? I know some people mentioned fps being weird but it just seems like it didn't install correctly or something on mine I can barely see to play the graphics are so bad. I have mxgp2 on a disc and it's much better

Update: reinstalled game and it's much better. I'm a reflex fanboy, never had the patience for mxsim but I can appreciate how great of a game it is once you get going. So far I'm very happy with mxgp3 and anyone who's on the fence should go ahead and grab it

I was just going to write about this. The frame rate drops so much its hard to stay on the track. I hope someone addresses this to them, its my favorite track.

I just got it too. Frame rate noticeable, hopefully they patch it. Maybe I'll reinstall? How do you start qualifying? Needs more intensity off of start, so slow. All in all it's a big step forward . Sound could get dialed in a bit as well. I like it's not easy for a newbie

Peely, just do it. It's the best game since Reflex, bar none. If you saw that YouTube review that was posted here last week, I can't add a damn thing to it, it was spot-on.

One tip: When you get it, go straight to "Pro" physics and then set it to "manual" shifting. Auto shifting runs too high RPM range, it's like you're bouncing off of the rev limiter the whole time, and it's hard to get traction. Set it to manual and a 450 actually feels like a 450 (same with a 250F).

Finally start to see a more active mulitplayer presence, I raced for about an hour the other night with no fewer than 6 riders on the gate. Fun stuff.
I just leave it in semi auto and shift up manually, I generally just have to tap up shift once as I'm leaving a corner (it tends to drop back go first way to soon) I shift without thinking in r/l, I shouldn't havnt to on a bloody game.

Have done a pretty solid first season on a 250f and it's Meh. Some corners feel good but the jumping/rigity over bumps just sucks the life out of the immersion. I don't know what that review video was on about when it said the scrub is fixed, cos it's still laughable. It'll kill some time before I get my my next VR game anyway.

Ps4 pro and I havnt seen any framerate drops

There was no scrub before. The scrub is there, you've just got to figure out how to use it. You can get that sh*t low as hell, but it takes some practice, and a lot of crashing. You initiate the scrub (with xbox controller) by pushing both joysticks out or inward depending on which way you want to scrub. To pull out of the scrub, I just reverse the direction (with the joysticks) that you initiated the scrub. Once you get it right that one time, a light bulb will come on and you'll scrub every bump on the track. Is it clunky? Yes, but it's functional, whereas in past MXGP games, it was virtually useless.

Bikes feel way too fast. A lot like mx vs atv series. Not a fan of that at all. The rest of it is pretty good. A little weird that they have gear on the real riders that you can't choose for yourself.

Anyone remember the solution in the other thread relating to it advancing to the next round instead of moto 2?

Game is pretty rad. Ruts form that you can actually take, computer guys take different lines, you can battle without wadding every corner, 2 moto format. Physics and scale could be improved, clutch sucks balls, and the sound is awful.

Overall, the gameplay is a bit more "arcade-y" and the experience is a bit more simulation.

Well, I'd be a complete fuckwit if I commented on how shit the scrub is if I hadn't figured out to do it already, but thanks for the tutorial I'm sure someone will find it useful

Go back to pits look down but belive it's right or left top bumper skips time through practice or qualify and then proceeds into the races

Picked it up after work and just did 5 or so career races. The track obstacles have been dumbed down, the bikes go way too fast, and it's more of an arcade racer than the last two. I would have preferred them staying with the realistic approach. I'm enjoying some things though. I love how you can finally run it in on guys and not fall over.

Hold it wide open against the gate. You don't get caught in the gate.

Starts are stupid on this game.

I think the speed is good. Last 2 were moo n physics and floaty slow. I get moved to the next Rd instead of 2nd moto too. am I hitting something wrong? Jumps could be harder and more of a penalty for taking blown out lines.

First couple of go's on the game I thought it was trash, persevere with it and i'm really getting into it,

got on a better bike and changed a few of the settings and it rides alot better, still not fully to grips with it yet (3/4 of the way through mx2 season) one thing for sure having been to half a dozen is the tracks are incredibly realistic.

I've never been to the track where RV looped out but I went over a single, saw the pit lane on the left and knew that's exacly where it happened.

Favourite part of the game is getting hard on the breaks tucking into a deep inside rut and powering out feels very realistic, scrubs could be better but aren't bad and would be cool if you could whip.

Overall enjoyable game when you get into it, getting offeres from teams as stuff is cool.

Finding myself looking forward to finishing work to play on it each night

I always enjoy doing a career and I enjoyed the game but didn't love it until I got on a good 250f
Although I was winning pretty easy on 'realistic' with the lesser team the better bike is actually really fun.. I've just started the 450 championship and it seems to have the same fun feel

Things I don't like are the tracks and the AI are too easy and I just find the rain to be annoying but everything else is good fun

I played it for the 1st time at my buddys house last night. I thought it was a lot of fun.

I don't own a gaming console newer than Xbox 360 so I wont be buying it.

Oh also cause my hands aren't good enough I've gotta set my controls on 'semi pro' I think it's called, so assisted leaning or whatever it's called, semi auto gears and dual brakes which is fine. I mean it works well enough but on 2 I could also lean back and forward on the left toggle (as well as steer) but I can't do that in 3 which sucks!

I worked out that the gates drop about ten seconds after you hit 'proceed' so I just wait then dump it at 10.. I've hit the gate more than I've holeshot but I have holeshot using the method haha

Yeah in career you can either run
practice, 30 mins of qualifying (laps not a race) then the two motos
qualifying and motos
or just the motos where you get last pick
