I am re-thinking my silencer choice. Was thinking the Ti powercore 2 , but thinking maybe I'll try a shorty. I know the Scalvini will help with bottom end power....so not sure if I should stick with the powercore or maybe a PC 304.
Decisions , decisions.....

A few Lukaitis snapped of me last July at etown on the trusty steed
I used to start way wide and sweep the first turn around the outside to get as many positions as I could, then make passes in the slower sections. Take the line, block the good lines as much as you can, haul ass downhill. Plus, nothing beats a 125 for harassing a guy in front of you - rev it and stick a wheel in everywhere!
Pretty dry at the moment but monsoons are just around the corner.
I'm 4600 ft up in the Aquarius Mts near Kingman so temps are nice in the summer and with some rain it's just doesn't get any better.
Would love to ride with a bunch of screaming 125's as i'm the only one around here on one.
I will try to post some info on ride dates as far in advance as possible once we get into monsoons.
125's making moto fun again!!!
This is a friend on a KTM 250 2 stroke.
I still have one big jump to tackle before i do a go pro of myself but soon.
Anybody know of a clean 2006 KX125 that I can build to go with my 06 KX250????
I toy with the idea of building an epic sand track to rail on a two stroke to finish out my riding days. I guess we all get lost in trying to find that youthful experience that got us hooked on the sport.
Pit Row
Jumping i don't have much trouble with (even at soon to be 60) but this one 65 ft deep gap is just in my head plus it's a bit technical as you have to clear the 40 ft double out of the corner and negotiate a little dogleg going into the face of the 65 Ft.
i am jumping two others that are longer 75 ft table and 90 ft sky jump (I go 90 faster younger guys push it out to 110 130 ft ) but this 65 ft so far has the best of me.
For years i thought about buying some land and building a track and am now in retirement fortunate to be living that dream.
so keep that idea of building a sand track alive and you may find yourself riding it someday.
Such a great thread! I'm 44 years old and just picked up a 2003 YZ125. Haven't ridden a 125 since '99 and I'm having a blast!
Soon
I've got about 2.9 hours on my Husky 125 now....which is 2.9 hours of 125 experince in the past 30 years haha. And I can't wait to go ride that son of a bitch again this weekend!!
I know I've only hit the tip of the ice berg here. As I still need to get my suspension done and also figure out what silencer to pair up with that Scalvini pipe I got.
The " being new to 125's " thing is awesome in itself....but Gawd dang it....I simply love the feel of this Husky! It amazes me how this little sucker can pull me around a track when I hit my lines right. I didn't think I'd ever ride another bike that rivaled my 06' RM 250 in the fun dept.....until now!! Dang I love this little bike!
