This interview with Bill Dill of 3D Racing with RacerX sure gives a picture of Nico Izzi way different than a lot of people have been posting here about him stealing, lying and generally ripping people off. Dill says he's stayiing with him and doing all the right stuff...

Nothing we do now or in the future change our poor past decisions, and Izzi's list of those poor decisions looks pretty large. Hopefully he owns that past history and uses it for motivation to never return to those patterns.
It's never too late.......
Always hope the best for Nico, but it's tough to not be at least skeptical.
I hope hes doing better. As someone said before when you get to thay point theres nothing fun or pleasurable about it. Its humiliation, desperation, constant fear...
Nico's past struggles have been well documented on this board and in other places. It is obviously a sensitive subject all around, but I think Bill has been working with Nico on this for several months.
And as IwreckALot, said, Bill made it clear to me that they have had some early set backs with some lingering issues from his past. But, he was clear that the problems that surfaced back in Feb were not of a current making, but something that had to be addressed. So they did, one step at a time.
Bill made it clear that Nico is rather motivated and that unlike some of the guys he has helped out over the years, he didnt have to chase him train or motivate him to go riding. He does it all himself. He said Nico wakes up by himself early and goes to bed early, and he is very impressed by his motivation and his desire to return to racing.
Time and results will ultimately tell this chapter of Nico and Bill's story, but lets hope these guys can put in 24 solid moto's and make some solid improvements.
And aside from Nico's program, the effort and commitment Bill has given to the sport over 17 years is something that probably not too many people are aware of, and makes for a good story.
Zach had just lapped him coming over the finish line and he rolled to a stop to wait to for Adam. Right when he stopped Nico rolled by and tried to give Zach a thumbs up but Zach didn't even acknowledge his existence.
I replayed it a couple times and was like wtf. Maybe Zach didn't notice him and was looking for Adam to congratulate? Poor Nico must have felt like a douche rocket.
I've been a Izzi supporter for a long time and I know his struggles all too well. I hope he finally has his shit together because this is likely his last shot.
Whether it be a camera, guitar, a stick or ball, or in this case, someone willing to let him ride a dirt bike at the highest level, that goes way further to help their long term recovery than sitting in a rehab facility over and over. Nico has a long way to go in his life, and hopefully Bill providing an avenue for him to stay on a program will allow him to stay clean. Good on Bill for his continued support of the sport and providing people a shot at riding a competitive level.
