Tomac couldn't go 24-0 with a five man gate.

Hope so.
Didn't look like that SX season left much confidence in the tank.

I seem to remember Baggett running down and passing Tomac last year at Hangtown...

Of course it's possible. RC won 70 in a row.

How long have you been watching SX/MX?

Have you not noticed that some riders aren't as skilled in SX as they are in MX.

I dont think Webb will win a moto but I would put money on it that he h as more top 10's than not.

Who can beat Webb outdoors besides?

1: Tomac
2: Dungey
3: Anderson
4: Baggett
5: Moose
6: Deano
7: Craig
8: Grant
9: Bogle
10: Barcia
11: Peick

I think half the time, he beats 50% of that list.... 90% of the time he finishes ahead of 75% of those riders.

5 top 5's

18 top 10's

Tomac is an intelligent racer. He is fully capable of learning from his mistakes. A 24-0 season is plausible however unlikely. The odds against achieving such a lofty goal are high.

That being said, of the current list of candidates, Tomac is my choice for winning the outdoor 450 championship.
You claim that he learns from his mistakes, but history proves otherwise.

I don't honestly think he can keep it together for 24 motos without an issue. Does he have the speed to do it, considering the competition, minus Dungey, absolutely, no doubt about that. I do think there are some riders that will have break out seasons outdoors, but again, consistency will be their problem as well.

Webb has been riding MX all week since he came back from his injury. Baggett, historically a much better MX rider than SX rider, is coming off his best SX season of his career. Musquin will be a factor as always. Dungey is my favorite if he rides. No way Tomac goes 24-0.

In 2015, Tomac was going to wax everybody, every moto. But then, an injury sidelined him. That's why 24-0 is so hard... it's not the speed we're talking about, it's the consistency.
I bet Eli will be faster than everyone most of the time, but he'll face a few setbacks and that will scuttle his chances for a perfect season.

I don't think it matters if he can go 24-0. I think it's fair to say that right know he can be considered the fastes dude to ride a mx bike on the planet anyways. what he needs is a championship to finally have a reward for all the work done and injuries he sustained since moving up the 450 class.

Did Webb "ditch" the rest of SX to jump on outdoor prep? I'm pumped for Webb I'm hoping he's going show something! Pumped for outdoors !!

Sure seems that way. I'd do the same if I was out of the championship chase, which he was after his injury. I think he's going to be one to watch out for. Tomac and Dungey no doubt put everything into SX, so the MX opener will be interesting.

I can't remember where I saw it but I read that he's been prepping for outdoors for like the last 5 weeks.

Dude, lets be real - winning 9 races in SX but still losing the championship was a major choke. I am sure he would like to redeem that.....

I think he can totally do it if he can learn how to ride to where he wins but he doesn't have to push so hard to beat Everybody by 30 Seconds to a minute

don't think its nonsense at all!!! guy won 9 SX after throwing away about 3 early..........had one bad race that was his fault.............should dungey retire, and even of he doesn't, with what it seems he has speed wise its a legitimate question............this is a discussion board I thought???

I'd think dungey, anderson, and Marv would take some wins no doubt. Either way there's no way he is consistent enough to go 24-0 regardless of who's out there.

No chance... I just hope he makes it the full season. Everyone that says this preseason is just trying to jinx the series in my opinion. Keep that evil Ju Ju away from here.

oh fucking brother.................guess winning 9 races and one of the best comeback rides ever don't warrant the question of being able to run the table outside.............where he may have been on his way before ??? ah fuck it Huh Huh
