The only thing that can keep Webb from the being the top dog in this sport is injury.....and maybe Tomac. Super Coop is no joke boys.

if you really think SX and MX have the same passing opportunities than it's not worth discussing that aspect of your post, other then Webb seems to have made a few late moto charges in MX previous seasons (albeit 250s) due to his conditioning or others lack of.

As my post stated "Top 5 is not unreasonable" here is my list, other then the top 3 guys, I'd put Webb as competitive as the rest.

Tomac
Dungey
Musquin Grant
Anderson Wilson
Canard (healthy?) Tickle
Seely Barica
Millsaps (canada?)
Webb
Bagget
You can take these riders off that list Wink

Grant
Wilson
Canard
Tickle
Seely
Barcia
Millsaps

I hear that Yamaha isn't as much of a hindrance outdoors. I say consistently top 5 and some podiums.

Yeah, I never saw anything about what happened to him.

He got a decent start and was around 6-7th on the first or second lap. Brayton was in 5th at that point and he was one or two people behind. He was taking a left 180 in a big rut hugging the inside when the camera cut away, next time the ticker went through he was in 22nd. So he had to of crashed/stalled around then.
He got a tuff block caught in his chain and was dragging it then had to pull in the pits

15 Factory 450 guys:
Dungey
Tomac
Musquin
Baggett
Anderson
Barcia
Wilson
Webb
Seely if healthy
Tickle if healthy
Canard if healthy
Pieck if healthy
Grant
Bogle
Craig

I look at that list and say damn only 3 have a chance at winning, big contrast to MXGP. The GPs is just at another level, I"ve lost interest in the nationals.

Top 5? He's got a lot of fast guys to beat regularly in order for that to happen. Not sure I see it at this point - would be nice, but maybe next year.
I wasn't all up on his nuts, not even too crazy about the guy sometimes but he seemed to have the fire that it took to come in and maybe make a splash.

It's definitely been underwhelming...hoping he can find his confidence and speed...

The GPs are another level because a bunch of guys can win? Come on...

You don't eat the bullshit you sell do you?

I remember when Dungey won both titles as as rookie.

I put Webb in 4th-8th along with a few podiums. Marv, Tomac, and Dungey will take up the top three spots. Bagget is capable of beating them all imo...

Three guys who can win is a lot better than 10 years of RC.

They might get a new bike sooner rather than later.
