Just wondered if there was a professional photographer at Diamond Don's. If so is there a website to go to to look at pictures from the race?

Keep an eye on the Awesome Shots site. Should be up soon. My brother and his wife were also snapping pics throughout the weekend. Maybe he will post some up.

Slowly rolling through photo's. I will be posting some up on the AHRMA South Central (@AHRMASoCentral) Facebook page in the next day and throughout the weekend.

For the sake of Vital Server Space don't quote this message as these pics are fairly large in size.

The first shot is of Dennis Daft (TX) leading Trampas Parker into the first corner.

This second one is of Eric Yarnell....who you can also see in the first picture creeping in.

Various other pics...Michael Tomlinson #73

Joe's son Darrick (my nephew) on my bike. I know it's a shocker that he isn't riding a Honda.

The event was large this year with 300 entries on Saturday and 370 entries on Sunday for motocross. Cross Country had big numbers and trials was about 4 times the amount of riders it seemed. On Friday we sat in the pavilion area while former world champ Brad Lackey and Gary Davis served free drinks in the bar area. Pretty cool as they ran a cross country checkpoint right up to covered seating. Warren Reid was there and raced on Sunday. Broc Glover and the Dunlop crew were on sight and selling tires. They sold out of all the tires which was quite remarkable. Broc was super cool and was wrenching on several peoples bikes....I've never seen one of our former champs wrenching like this! Steve Wise, Trampas Parker, Guy Cooper and I know I'm forgetting others were racing and hanging out also. If you have never been to Diamond Don's it's unlike any race you have ever been to as it's part party and part racing.

To me the best races of the weekend were when Trampas and Ricky Parker ( son of Trampas) went at it in a couple of races.
Also in the second photo is # 82 and that was Heith Parker ( Tramps's brother) and he won that moto.
However there were great races every day for 3 full days!!!!!

I agree about Ricky and Trampas. Those two go at it. Heath rode very well this weekend also.

Great photos! Ok, I have never been to Texas and that track looks awesome! I may have to make this happen next year. Assuming this is an Ahrma event? Do they have classes for 90"s bikes?

Guy Cooper on his 100 going through turn 2 was insane. He left the bike at wide open throttle through the entire turn. He never chopped the throttle at all. Trampas was ahead of him but even he let off the gas some in that corner. I should have taken a video. Everyone watching was just laughing at it because it was so crazy.

Oh and Sandman, this is an AHRMA event so unfortunately there aren't any classes for 90s era bikes. The track is awesome and the event is a ton of fun. Get a bike that you can race and come on down next year.

First turn , Battle by the Bayou moto 1. My buddy Eric Yarnell on 16 gets the holeshot on my Johnstone Werks Racing YZ100.

Guy Cooper is 14, Trampas is behind Eric on the bike with green number plates. Eric finished third in this moto.

Stone stock 82 YZ100. I put a topend in it the night before the race, couldn't believe it wasn't even ported. Hell, the air filter was still dirty from the last time he raced it. LOL

33z is Bryant Wedding. Great meeting a bunch of forum guys (several have already posted---you know who you are). TBT and Yarnell were all business on the track and very chill off of it. Darrick seemed psyched to be riding Uncle Albert's yellow scooter, but it had to be painful for his Dad to witness.

If you haven't been to DD's----then you just aren't living right!

Here are a couple photos my old man bought of me. Not posting just photos of me because I'm conceited, just sharing the ones I have because they show the track and the officialness with the banners and signage. Such a fun track thinking back on it. Even Saturday morning in the mud was fun.

Just posted some additional pictures and time line on the AHRMA South Central FB page (AHRMASoCentral). Oh yeah, thanks to my wife for being a trooper to take these.

This first photo is of Warren Reid racing with us on the CR480 beast.

Guy Cooper, only as Guy Cooper can do.

This is a cat named Bob Bean...60 year old class and fast as shit.

Trey Jorski and his signature open face Bell helmet leading the way over Phil Reed from Arkansas.

Trampas Parkers son Ricky...who is damn fast and knows how to prep a track (Desoto, Louisiana).

Trampas Parkers brother Heath (#82) about to take over the rider in front of him ...who is damn fast and knows how to prep his hair!

And one more of Warren Reid with Heath Parker in tow.
