Dungey is the lamest Champion ever, i cant even believe he would let Marvin do that. You can throw all the crap out the door about how genuine he is and how he's such a hard worker and a great person for the sport and a fan favourite. He wil never ever earn respect again in the eyes of the true moto fans. Dungey you sir are a disgrace for this sport and what it truly stands for if you want team tactics you should start cycling!!!!
Lame AF, you need to go to your safe place immediately!

Look there is no doubt Eli put this on himself today. But common isn't the best racer meant to win? I get the team orders stuff but if this championship ends up coming down to 3 points or so, did Dungey earn it? And yeh a lot of money is involved, but so is respect, and I think the whole KTM Team just lost some with the fans.

Agree 100%! What gets me even worse are the Vitards that think Dungey doesn't deserve to be where he's at. The guy is the smartest and most consistent rider in the sport. He stayed on two wheels and DID NOT CHOKE. Tomac crashed and choked big time.

Can't say Marv gave Dunge the title. Just three points.

If he wins title by less than 3, then complain.
Make that at least 6 points....St. Louis

Exactly. It's business. No F'n way was KTM going to not do what needed to be done.

Tomac just made it even easier but going from Beast Mode to C class Spode.

On the podium, he looked and sounded like he walked into the bedroom and found Dungey banging his chick. Man, he looked like he lost the winning Powerball ticket.

Kinda did.

Honestly Tomac was in a good spot after he fell. He has grant and other riders in front of him. Could've gotten 6th MAYBEEEE 5th. But then stalled on that triple. Man he blew it. Pulled a start and fell

Ya dude ,you're gonna need a fire hose to clean that shit up.

I think what a lot of you Vitards are missing in this whole thing, is that Tomac was in front and CRASHED! CHOKED! BLEW IT! But Dungey stayed on two wheels. He would still be up in points, even if Marvin didn't have his "mishap", which, yeah, I'm sure was team tactics, or one friend helping another, but you people are discounting that Tomac had it and blew it. That's not Dungey's fault. That's not Marvin's fault. That's Tomac CHOKING BIG TIME!

Is there legalized gambling on Supercross in New Jersey? If so would race fixing be a criminal offense since it's an individual, not team, sport?

I got no problem with team tactics. These teams pay millions of dollars to their riders. So what Marvin pulled over for Dungey. That's racing. Sometimes you need friends to win.

Why did it take Tomac so long to get up? Anderson washed out and made it on the podium. Honestly it's like he gave up. He was frustrated ALL day. It's almost like that washout was the last straw. And he threw in the towel.

Yes, but it's still a business. Tomac just made what needed to be done easier by blowing a whole race. If Tomac didn't blow it, tonights events would have moved up a week with the same hope it would play out the same.

For the right money, you can make anything happen. Payoffs happen in all sports.

If I was Dungey, Marvin would be on my payroll. It's business.

I hope Eli let's this go or uses it as motivation to come into outdoors to absolutely destroy the field. Dammit it all to hell!
If Tomac wins next week, Dungey must take 4th or better to win the championship. Without Musquin's mistake he would've needed 3rd or better.

If Dungey takes 5th, they'll be tied in points and Tomac will get the championship because he has more wins.

Anything can happen, so getting 4th or better next week is not a given.
It ain't over.

Those extra 3 points certainly take a bit of pressure off.

So does dungey get penalised for making the pass on musquin under yellow flags or are the ok with it cause he is the points leader?
4/29/2017 5:57pm
I was yelling for him (ET) to hurry when he fell. Seemed to me the championship was on the line. Couldn't believe what looked like a lack of urgency. Man I love that guy when he is on. Makes me wonder if there is/was something goingon with ET we don't know about

bummed for him, but that s racing.

I still think Eli should wait till the main in Vegas and punt Dungey into the casino! I doubt that will happen but it's what this series needs to cap off one of the most exciting seasons we've had in awhile.

Why didn't I go?! (actually a Meniere's attack but) The fans must have had a blast unless you are a Tomac fan. I bleed orange but I feel for the guy today (not any other day, not one bit ha).

I don't know how the racers talk 6 seconds after that. I'da been yelling and crying at the same time. Have some fine people running up front.

I am a gigantic Tomac fan, I'm absolutely heartbroken for him. He has raced his ass off, done things nobody thought were possible. He started the season not the best, then kicked it in gear, had a mechanical mishap but has been very consistent, some would say dominant since week 4 (minus the brake thing in Arlington) consistent just like Dungey, but also consistently better. Taking a 29 point deficit and turning it into a 3 point lead. I am so insanely proud of him,and what he has done, and he should be to.

Tonight I could tell right away he wasnt riding like he has been recently. Did having the points lead get to him mentally? Yea probably. He's been fighting behind for so long, now with the lead he wants more than ever to prove that he is the better racer, that he's not just flying high until he crashes big. He wasn't riding as aggressively as he had been, he didn't look comfortable, he wasn't going as fast as normal, he wasnt cornering the same. He just didn't look like Eli. He let it get to his head and that sucks. I just hope he can bounce back and come out swinging next week. I'll be cheering for him no matter what.

As far as team orders, yea Marv let Dunge by, yea it pissed me off, no it didn't surprise me. If Dungey wins by less than 3 points I'll be even more upset. Its supposed to be about who is the better rider, not who has the most/better friends. Yea Eli messed this one up by himself, but there is still another race.

GO ELI!
