I got the r-tech kit for my '05 125, easy assy, one of the airbox rivets was hard to get out, other than that just drill the front fender with supplied template. Front number plate i drilled two holes in bottom and zipped tied it to the bottom tripple clamp, you can't notice it as it's "inside".

Oh man. That's such an amazing before and after. Where'd you get the graphics for the Rtech kit? I love the near-stock look you've achieved. That's so beautiful...

DeCal Works, played around with their online programs, even though 3 or 4 colors where available to chose from I just used two to keep it simple. I really like how it turned out.

Thanks!

I like how it turned out too: it's amazing. I might have to steal your style but as long as you aren't riding in NJ/NY I should be OK Laughing

Thought you guys might like this. I put 14 clamps on my 16 450. So I took my 16 top clamp to work and put it on the cnc machine and circle milled the holes to the same size as my older SSS forks . Now I can move the bars forward like I want and they will be rubber mounted.

I am in the process of turning my 07 YZ250 white. the biggest hurdle is the tank. Ordered one from Clarke in stock capacity. Not happy AT ALL with the way it fits. I don't think it would make it 4 motos 'till the frame would rub a hole in the rear portion of the tank. Any other options out there either here or across the pond?

My 2013 with UFO restyle kit and Clarke yellow tank. But I gave them to my buddy and am in the process of going back to blue with a Cycra restyle kit. Eventually I will get the air box too, but didn't feel like spending the money right now.

Meh... I just like the new 2015 side plates better.

They both look better than how my 07 looks currently. So that's a bonus!
Will 2015 plasticks fit on a yz 85 2004?

Here's an upgrade to my old 2001 250F just went with a oem 2016 front and rear fender and some new graphics.
(Some creative grafting of the 2001 and 2016 rear fenders was needed)
Couldn't upgrade the tank or airbox due to the the steel frame.

But my 2014 YZ 125 has the 2016 tank and airbox and i added some blue/black Dubya/Talon wheel sets.

What plastic brand is that? So the stock 2016 plastic lines up with a 13 yz250 huh?

Here is the airbox side panels that comes with the R-Tech kit. It doesnt say it on the site, but they came with the pops that put them together.

Great fit!

Here is the before and after pictures. I just brought this thread back up again to let people know that they dont need to buy any screws or anything, all you need is in the kit. You need to cut the front number plate a little bit though, which i think already is posted somewhere in this thread. But that isnt a hard task. Decals are from HG-Stickers in Sweden.

Bro! Sweet machine. Well done.

Honestly, all the converted YZs pictured in this thread look great. A full tilt "Bravo Zulu" to each of you.

Have your bikes bigger brother; I'll have to get a picture of them, but you can get 8-24 "spring" pins that look like a cylinder cut down the side and widened.

I tapped them into the triple clamp holes and voila! Two posts.
