Those 100s look like a lot of fun. I wish I had one. How frequently do you have to rebuild the top ends on those?

Wishing they had a cool event like that closer to me. That looks like fun. Having a cross country race would be even more my style than the moto stuff but I would like both.



I love those YZ100s. I had an 82' when I was a kid and really liked it. I wish I would have kept it. Who knew they would have been so collectable. They are rare as hens teeth in Canada here but they are rare everywhere. I would love a tricked out one. It would be the perfect vintage bike for my wife to ride too.

I'm not sure, lol! This is the first one and we haven't raced it yet.

You are in for a treat at DD's. There's nothing else like it.
Be sure to stop by our RV area (towards the back), behind the pavilion........on top of all that scattered broken clay pottery.

Yep, was just about to post a "full disclosure". Laughing Ol' Newmann here is the madman that got me started back into all this. It another Vital post, he mentioned that he knew where a YZ100 could be had.....aaannd, it escalated quickly.

Turns out that Newmann had already put his magic on the frame, engine, hubs, etc.. for a guy who didn't have time to finish it out, so I had a huge head start and spotless frame/engine/suspension to work with. Had I found the bike in it's original rusted state, I would have had Newmann do all that stuff for me anyway, so it works out.

Newmann and I go way back to High School days, but he was just a snot-nosed mini rider then hoping to get a peek into my garage to see some real bikes. Now I'm the old man who's thrilled to get a peek into his garage!

Where do you get this exact opaque white plastic from? I need a large sheet that looks exactly like this stuff and 2-3mm thick. Thanks
