Tomac was an animal out there, absolutely savage on the bike. Dungey rode like a champion. Both riders should be damn proud of the rides they put in.

Maybe we will have some good racing in 2 weeks

Tomac was amazing, Musquin may be the French word for Dungey. Marv got a great start then rode a smart race that was close to the danger zone but not in it, just like Dungey would do it. First of all as far as Dungey goes, respect to him for being a man and going to have a face to face with Reed today. Secondly, that was a heck of a ride Dungey put in. Dungey has had a lot of weird things happen this year and he has managed that well to salvage the best results he could. I don't think this thing is going to get decided until Vegas and now Tomac has to deal with the pressure party too. Going to be fun.

Mentally it would be really tough to do what Dungey did tonight. He has a strong will to win and man does the guy ride smart. I find it hard not to overthink it and taco myself in that type of situation.......and that's when it's for a plastic trophy!!

Ryan is officially free. There's nothing left to protect. This could get really, really good.

Tomac is only going to get stronger. I don't see pressure getting to him - he's been there done that in MX.

BTW, barring injury, he's going to totally destroy in outdoors.

Really? I guess you missed Tomac in 2015 before he hurt his shoulder (which was a catastrophic injury which took him a full year before he was even close to normal). Go to promotocross.com and educate yourself. I was at GH when Tomac OBLITERATED everyone in 2015 and then at Hangtown the next week. He got hurt in Colorado after that. Now that he's healthy, he's back to '15 Tomac, and he's the fastest man on the planet. Dungey doesn't stand a chance.

I don't think pressure will get to him but now he's at least got to deal with it like Dungey has most of the season. Dungey in a sense did free himself somewhat tonight like Rancor stated in his post. That may be more important, the fact that Dungey has nothing to protect in a sense. I expect a more fluid Dungey the next few races.

I think KYFH was saying Tomac was going to dominate the outdoors. (And) that is a scary thought, Tomac back to his 2015 level. I think there will be a lot of good guys this year outdoors and I hope Dungey is at his best. But there is someone that I think might surprise people this year. I think he is ready, and he has had his best SX year and he is a MX specialist: Blake Baggett I think is going to win some motos and battle for podiums this year. CWebb could be a threat as well, though it's his rookie year on big bike.

It's not luck. Dungey is a solid top 3 rider every year. Just not as good as tomac and not as good as Marvin. And yes I know you were being sarcastic

We get it but then state Tomac in your comment. No need to guess what you want to say then just attacking other members. Noticed "Dungey" in the title?
