Just so where all clear, Scummy was not the first to jump it.

In the late 80s and early 90s there were three tracks in the hills near there, one being Honda Land, and every rider wanted to jump it, some did. I havent seen the jump in 25 years, but back then it wasnt that bad, just long.

Hope he is okay. That jump looks as scary as any i've ever seen. Never been there and all the photos/videos are too old to really get a clear view so i went and looked at google earth 3D + street view real quick and judging by the 3D map (which is usually scary close to real life) the landing looks real real sketchy (as it does in Scummys video too).

PS, if you havnt seen the 3D maps before i attatched the milestone sx track for refference how accurate it can be. If you wanna do some creepin, highly reccomend it.

Just wanted to give a update on the train jump Kyle went for last week, here are some screen grabs from the actual jump. To answer your question, he was bucked over the bars on the lip and landed in a superman, he has 6 broken bones in his face. Footage will be released in a few places, online and within two new moto movies being shot and released this year. follow motopimps on instagram for future updates on footage releases

What I've pieced together off of social media including Morrison's Facebook video is that he suffered some pretty bad head trauma and quite a few broken bones, but will recover. Someone else said his bike hit a bump at the peak of the take off causing the front end to drop shortly thereafter, that's quite distance and height to go without the bike if true. Hope he's as good as can be.

I stopped by last week and checked it out. Didn't really think the transition was too bad at the bottom but about 2/3's of the way up the ramp the sand was really soft and the last 5 feet or so was hard pack and looked like it would be a kicker because of the soft sand before it. It didn't appear that there was any ramp prep but it was a few days after and it might have been walked on too much to tell because there were a bunch of foot prints.

The cross is from someone that died on a motorcycle. From what I was told the person rode over it thinking it was just a mound not and actual cliff on the otherside.

Yeah this was planned weeks in advance, they worked on it a few times leading up to the jump day. And your correct about the motorcycle accident.
