That was pretty fun. I wish he would asked him about Roczen, and recovery, etc.

Pure gold. Thank you Matthes. All you guys that didn't like it need to see it for what it was. A little taste of the true RV being just a little annoyed by Steve.

Though he says he would not return to Winnipeg, and who could blame him it is the ass crack of Canada, his sense of humor is that of a native Pegger. Dry humor, hacking on his friends and people he trusts, all about getting the jabs in on little things.

Having grown up in Winnipeg, Humor is one of the coping mechanisms for living there. It gets you through winter, where the windchill can feel like icicles are piercing your skin when you walk into it in the winter, everyone drives a truck, because even the paved roads and highways are off-road, and as of today, there is still a couple feet of snow on the ground.

If you want to see the "real" side of RV, there are plenty of interviews much better than that IMO

I think it was hilarious, these two together are pure comedy gold. Make that show happen.

I thought it was great. Kind of chopped up, but most likely done to put as much information into as short a video as possible.

Why does everyone bash steve? Do you know how god damn awkward and just plain uncomfortable to watch it would be had one of us been in that video, knowing no matter what you said or did its gonna be shit on?

It did have somewhat of a tense feel to it, i dont envy having that position

You do realize that Steve is a 'journalist'...and most of us are not, don't you?
3/29/2017 7:29am
Matthes is trying a little too hard.... RV is a cool guy but please get an interview done by a proper journalist instead of this meathead.

I was kinda hoping they would pull into a Sonic and crack bad jokes while eating tator tots and drinking a cherry limeade.

I dont get why all the hate for a video that you clicked on for free? Do you know how many conventional interviews and articles and interviews are out there and riders just say the same old crap over and over? This is different, it was meant to be relaxed, hence the title "Life After Racing". We got a few laughs and we know how these two are when together.

Before you are so quick to judge, and criticize this, why dont you consider what it would be like if there was no Steve Matthes show or articles. Then you tell me how much insider info and content you would have available. What did "YOU" contribute? If you dont like the article or video, simply say, I wish he would have talked more about racing/rifles/etc, or I wish it was longer and not chopped up. Something constructive and VALUABLE, resorting to a personal attack on Matthes, or anyone else on the board for that matter is really in poor judgement, shows poor manners and is not valuable to anyone in any way shape or form, so next time you hit "Submit" with a tasteless, rude or personal attack on another person, take a second to consider if your post has any value worth the pixels on other peoples monitor and how you can adversely affect an other person for no reason or without merit.

End Rant.

Thanks For the video Matthes. Looking forward to many more, and hopefully a full unedited version of this on Pulp. That would be money.

I HATED RV when he was racing. SInce retiring I am big fan.

Well, in California, we have 68 right now and about 18-22 Feet of snow on the ground.
So snow on the ground doesn't mean its cold. I mean yesterday it was 56 and snowing.

But yeah, east of the Canadian rockies is like here. Hell.
