Sucks for both sides involved. Craig will never live it down and Alex is out another round. Can't imagine that was good business.

If CC can take out Savatgy or Osborne this week, maybe he can get on the podium. I'm not a fan of these practice take outs.

Feel so bad for A Mart. Craig didn't mean to hurt him. Give him a bump yes, but send him flying, no way. Anybody know what Alex's injuries are?

That was a nasty way to land on your ass. If Craig looses his cool like this again he should be docked more then last gate pick. DV has done some work.

I wouldn't be surprised if he broke his coccyx.

Craig should go back to construction and leave the real riders to race. What a waste of space he's turned out to be just like his dad.

Christian Craig's intentional, immature, disappointing take out of Alex Martin is unacceptable and cannot be rectified with words.

It is a seldom used word, so when the opportunity arises we must use it my Bro.

Christian and Alex are both great guys and in no way "dirty" riders IMO...It was a racing incident, if it happens again then fine, burn Craig at the stake but I swear, calling the guy a waste of space on the track for a tad sub par season and a nasty takeout unintentionally in practice is down right illogical. He personally apologized and I'm sure feels awful, give the guy a break.

A back slap like that can be nasty. All sorts of injuries can come about - various soft tissue issues - disc or ligament, or compression or transverse process fractures. Usually the stomach muscles fire, loading up the spine.

I broke my coccyx once. Fucker hurt. Couldn't sit properly for 2 months. Still can't sit through a movie without pain. And still can't help but chuckle when someone says coccyx.

While we're being immature, does anyone else find it hilarious when the rmfantasysx ads end with "and even get into Group play"?

Ouch, Martin is losing out on some $$$. Craig can't be too pumped about his actions.

Craig didn't do it to hurt Martin, but he went into the situation with intention to make contact and Martin ended up hurt and missing at least 2 rounds.

I can't put it into words how stupid that was, in practice!

How far off the track would Craig have been if he entered the corner the exact same way and no one was there?

Agree, it stinks when riders get hurt. It's such a dangerous sport, I for one, am not a fan of TIMED PRACTICE. Why can't we just go back to early afternoon qualifiers? The tracks get one-lined because they never put hay bales on the insides. The rider's roll around, and then use the ONE GOOD line for their Burner Lap. The reason is probably FELD being lazy and not wanting to run another 6 qualifying races.

Timed Practice is not a part of normal everyday motocross. We all have that one friend, who can "blister" a lap, but not finish a 3 lap moto.

I was about 5 rows up in the stands at that exact corner. There were countless guys using that same line to get around riders on a slow lap. It wasn't an ideal line but they could pivot and still salvage a hot lap. If you look closely at the video and what I saw was Martin decideing to rail the corner to start a hot lap with out the knowledge of Craig cutting the corner to get by him. Take it for what it's worth but a lot of slow guys in practice were hanging up on that berm to let the guys on the hot lap guys finish strong. I can only assume that's what Craig was expecting to happen then Martin railed the corner and Craig braced when he saw him. I also looked the actions of Craig after the incident. He didn't look like a pissed of racer at all. Kind of slowed and looked at the situation lap after lap.
