It's surprising that people are so surprised or offended by this. It's 2017 and nearly every aspect of our lives is recorded in one way or another. Law enforcement loves drones, and you can bet that as they get more and more of them they'll be used for increasingly unnecessary and undesirable purposes. Go get mad about privacy now being a thing of the past before you get up in arms about some famous dude and his friends being recorded riding their dirt bikes outdoors in an open area.

Is your drone registered, OP? Oh, ok, he was in an airplane.

I agree with a lot of people in this thread. It is very unfortunate that a professional motocross racer cant practice on his own property without people taking illegal photographs and invading their personal privacy. It is truly heinous.

Now I know the NSA collects data on every citizens emails and phone conversations, and even backdoors into peoples iPhones and webcams, but taking pictures of people RIDING DIRTBIKES? Thats just unacceptable. There should clearly have been a no-fly zone over their property, and even some anti aircraft artillery to prevent things like this from taking place.

OP is a certified monster/creep for such an invasion of their personal space and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Even a public execution would be too good for him. Lets find out exactly who he is, get him fired from his job, have CPS remove his children and place them in foster care, and ruin his marriage. This is just purely unacceptable.

He was in an airplane. Go back and read the OP.

The only guys I don't mind doing low level flyovers are the guys burning up my tax dollars.
The smell of JP8 and the sound of freedom is welcome.

This thread just reminds me of how many douche nozzles are on Vital. If the guy was posting pics of someone inside of their home that's one thing, but out in broad daylight, give me a break. Do you feel the same way about Google driving around mapping out your neighborhood and you just happen to be walking outside at the time.

I see no problem with these photos either. I used to ride at a track right next to a highway and people would pull over and take pictures all the time. Never did I think, wow what an invasion of privacy.

"Illegal"?......some of you guys are so far out of touch on this stuff it's unreal. A little weird? Yeah.

The guy was in a plane , and can take as many pictures as he wants. If he was flying a drone....same thing. Just like I said.....go ahead and shoot it down , and get sued. You'll noit only get sued for the damaged RC aircraft , but an evenly spread hourly rate of building hours to build such an aircraft. I had a guy threaten me that he was going to shoot down my 106' AJ Slick aerobatic bird out of the sky....I begged him too. Please do it , I could use the extra money haha.

In the AMA , we are suppose to follow the "Guidelines " of not flying over a residential home.....but as far as the law goes? Go ahead and try and prove the pilot was in the wrong.....and then you deliberately shot down an un-arrmed , un-maned aircraft out of the sky...possibly causing serious injuries to other bystanders.....and see what the judge says. The guy who pulls the trigger.....will get fucked.

If they don't want people flying over their property get a TFR for that all important airspace over the place, otherwise as long as he's not flying lower than allowed he's well within his right to go where he wants.

Some of you guys are naive. You're being surveilled all day long by the authorities and haven't complained. You do carry a cellphone don't cha?

How about getting mad about surveillence on YOU and let Mookie worry about Mookie.

I had a friend who is a pilot who was out practicing takeoffs and landings at a local airport one sunday afternoon. It just so happens that the mayors mother lives right under the approach path to the runway he was using. The mayor happened to be there having a barbeque and was annoyed that the plane kept flying over so he and his redneck brother hopped into a truck and sped over to the airport to confront the pilot. When my friend landed and was taxiing to his hangar this truck comes driving out in front of him blocking his way. The mayor proceeded to pull the guy out of his plane and get in a shoving match resulting in the mayor getting a free ride home in the back of some poor deputies cruiser. Sounds like a lot of guys on here have the same mentality as the mayor. You may own the dirt, but you don't own the air above it. If the guy was at a legal altitude there is nothing wrong here.

If the OP is still checking this, I would love to take a flight with you to see these tracks next time I in Central Florida. I am not worried about invading privacy from the air looking at fields and dirt. Lol
