I think they call you "Mr." after the last two weekends. So excited to see how Zach is riding... very impressive and in control, not to mention class leading speed.
Well deserved.
Well deserved.
Still a lot of races to go before we find out for sure.

Zack left the country for 3 years?
You have to wonder how much longer Canard is going to keep going? If Zach keeps this going outdoors I can see him being pretty attractive on the big bike for someone.
Just so happy for him, first class guy and after so much time to see all the pieces come together makes for a great story.
I think Savatgy is trying way too hard, Zach is just calm and clinical this year - I wonder where he could have got that from? lol

I guess they're tied for longest time in the 250 class.
So why aren't people bagging on Osborne as well? Is it because of those 3 years overseas? Just because we didn't see him stateside for those years doesn't change the fact that he's been in the 250 class for the same amount of time as Davalos.
On top of that he only got his first win in SX this year so it took him longer to get a win than Davalos. According to The Vault Davalos got his first SX win on February 22nd 2014 in Atlanta.
Things that make you go Hmm?
His rookie year was 2006, so this is year number 12 as a professional on a 250. He raced the 250 in MX2 in the GPs in 2009, 2010 and 2011 and did no supercross those years. So this is year number 9 in regional 250 supercross. Some kids he is racing today would have been going to their first day of school when he was a professional racing the Daytona supercross in 2006.
There are a lot of guys that turned pro the same year or well after him that have been in the 450 field for years:
Dungey (2007 - moved to 450 in 2010)
Tomac (2010 - moved to 450 in 2014)
Seely (2009 - moved to 450 in 2015)
Baggett (2010 - moved to 450 in 2015)
Musquin (2008MX, 2012/SX - moved to 450 in 2016)
Anderson (2011 - moved to 450 in 2015)
Wilson (2010 - moved to 450 in 2015)
Tickle (2007 - moved to 450 in 2012)
Webb (2013/2014 - moved to 450 in 2017)
Weimer (2006 - moved to 450 in 2011)
Roczen (2009/MX, 2011/SX - moved to 450 in 2014)
M. Stewart (2011 - moved to 450 in 2017)
Bogle (2012 - moved to 450 in 2016)
Peick (2009 - 450 since rookie year)
Canard (2008 - moved to 450 in 2011)
Barcia (2009/2010 - moved to 450 in 2013)
Albertson (2006 - moved to 450 in 2009)
Friese (2009 - moved to 450 in 2012)
And several that have already retired:
Villopoto (2006 - moved to 450 in 2009)
W. Hahn (2006 - moved to 450 in 2014)
J. Lawrence (2006,SX - moved to 450 in 2009)
J. Hill (2007 - moved to 450 in 2008)
Stroupe (2008 - moved to 450 in 2011)
Either way it appears that both might have to move up in 2018. If that's the case I think Osborne stands a better chance at landing a ride than Davalos. Both are close in age but Osborne seems to be more consistent. Not sure who else is slated to move up in 2018 but all I know is that there isn't that many rides available.
Guess we'll see what happens in a few months.
