Yeah. And me being here 10 years proves i get along with the majority. You disagee i guess. No worries.

Edit : you mean to be a mod? I don't want a moderator job but I'd like to help out if i could. Plenty more qualified guys and gals then me.

Seniority means you should know better, unprovokingly calling someone a "moron" because they do not agree with you is not that. This was not said to me, but I do recall it from one of your threads. If you are going to attempt to preach like you are on some sort of moral high ground, I expect you to be firmly on said ground and not knee deep in your own shit.
I'm not preaching from any high ground. And if you go back through my entire posting history...when i go after someone , 99% of the time it's because they came after me first. The only time I say something insulting to a person first....is because they just said something completely moronic....that it deserved being said.

This is a great place to come and talk moto, i dont need to talk tech, or find riding buddies, just bench racing , like a bunch of guys in a bar waiting to go to the races.

Long may it continue, i agree with the 'more mods' thing in principle, but MX Trax in the UK got moderated into oblivion.

Last post in their equivalent to this was 2 weeks ago.. used to miss stuff if you didnt go on twice a day , now twice a month is enough, bottom of the first page is last August... everyone in the UK now hits FB, and there are loads of groups ( a bit like the old Yahoo days) for 70's and 80's stuff & Evo.

So while there are some asshats on here of late, there are some great posters, across all the sub forums i use , that make it the best place to come by far.

Dont waste your energy on trolls. Or admit you like to argue. Just dont take the bait, or react to every little thing. Idk. Ive just never been part of a messege board that policed comments/posts so closely.

Its like Tomac responding to critics on instagram.

Looks like I finally joined at the wrong time, haha. Long time lurker. Don't worry about me, I'm just a slow vet guy with nothing to prove. Ride atleast once a week and love watching racing, talking Moto and working on bikes. Always buying and selling parts too, I've missed out on some nice stuff because I hadn't signed up. Lots of great info on here.

Love this guy ^^^ when I grow up I wanna be peelout. Completely agree with the person who said there should be a probationary period for new members. We have enough Stewart, Dungeys washed up threads constantly popping up. Long live Vital.

I am on Vital every day, sometimes multiple times a day. I have a low post count because all the threads seem to get derailed for whatever reason. I have been in public safety for 25 years. I have one simple rule, if I would not say it to someone's face, then I would not type it in a post.

Better than mtb and road forums, those stop every five! A lot of places moved to Facebook so forum activity isn't what it use to be other than here. Love seeing this place running like it does.

True Story.

My company hires a company to train our new employees for assembly line techniques. Everyone has to take it. This happened in the session I was in.

The trainer was teaching us how to use a torque wrench. One women asked:

Trainee: What do I do if the screw requires 40 in ounces but the wrench I have only goes to 20 inch ounces?

Trainer: Torque it to 20 twice.

We make avionics for Boeng and Airbus and the military.

I'm certain that trainer has probably instructed just about every mechanic who has touched my truck in the last 5 years.

I don't post often either, but Vital is fantastic. It's made me 6 hours of paid overtime reading at work so far this year.

Is there a sign up sheet for the A-hole list? Where do I sign up. I've been around the block a time or two and think I could really make a difference.Laughing

I just finished my first half a century Monday, and rolling into the 2nd half whole hog. Someone throw me a bone here.

Another example from my work:

Puchasing agent Lisa was being pressured to expedite a part. She was checking Receiving twice a day waiting for the part.

She got a call from Bob from Incoming Inspection which was odd in itself as it wasnt a part that needed inspection.

Bob told her he was rejecting the part because it didnt meet the Order Invoice. Lisa rushed right down as she knew there was a high probability the needed part would get lost.

She demanded that Bob show her where the part didnt meet the Invoice.

Bob says: " The paper work says the part should be 8.5 inches by 11 inches. But look its 11 inches by 8.5 inches.

Lisa, stunned, thinks and reachs over and rotates the part 90 degrees and says " How about now?"

Bobs says: " OK, now it passes"

And again, we make avionics for Boeing, Airbus, and the military.

Ouch. They'll let anybody work on a car here in Cali no training required. Actually makes it easy with most customers just by doing the job right. Like that's something special or something

I've been around for a few years. I'm not well known and my post count is pretty low. A quick glance at my profile will prove I'm a sucker for Dungey threads. Many of my post's are deleted by me before I hit the submit tab. I love an intelligent argument/debate/ comments regarding riders and racing. This place is awesome and I don't want to be that guy.... who is up for dumbest post of the year award. I've seen it happen and it ain't pretty.
