Long may it continue, i agree with the 'more mods' thing in principle, but MX Trax in the UK got moderated into oblivion.
Last post in their equivalent to this was 2 weeks ago.. used to miss stuff if you didnt go on twice a day , now twice a month is enough, bottom of the first page is last August... everyone in the UK now hits FB, and there are loads of groups ( a bit like the old Yahoo days) for 70's and 80's stuff & Evo.
So while there are some asshats on here of late, there are some great posters, across all the sub forums i use , that make it the best place to come by far.
Its like Tomac responding to critics on instagram.
The Shop
My company hires a company to train our new employees for assembly line techniques. Everyone has to take it. This happened in the session I was in.
The trainer was teaching us how to use a torque wrench. One women asked:
Trainee: What do I do if the screw requires 40 in ounces but the wrench I have only goes to 20 inch ounces?
Trainer: Torque it to 20 twice.
We make avionics for Boeng and Airbus and the military.

I just finished my first half a century Monday, and rolling into the 2nd half whole hog. Someone throw me a bone here.
Puchasing agent Lisa was being pressured to expedite a part. She was checking Receiving twice a day waiting for the part.
She got a call from Bob from Incoming Inspection which was odd in itself as it wasnt a part that needed inspection.
Bob told her he was rejecting the part because it didnt meet the Order Invoice. Lisa rushed right down as she knew there was a high probability the needed part would get lost.
She demanded that Bob show her where the part didnt meet the Invoice.
Bob says: " The paper work says the part should be 8.5 inches by 11 inches. But look its 11 inches by 8.5 inches.
Lisa, stunned, thinks and reachs over and rotates the part 90 degrees and says " How about now?"
Bobs says: " OK, now it passes"
