Is there anyway to remove the black tank cover? Or shave some of it to expose the titanium tank?

Finally got all my Estart parts yesterday. Took forever for the starter set up to come in. The harness and battery I've had for about a month. Iowa

I'd post a pic of mine.... But everyone knows what a stock one looks like.

What aftermarket parts are available now? I ordered some twin air filters. Any plastic yet? Who has seat covers? Anyone determine that the suspension link measurement is - and what length will the aftermarket lowered one be? Any ignition maps or ideas to eliminate the jerky power down low?

Acerbis as plastic available now. They seem to have a full red shroud available but no picture yet. Works connections has the traditionnal stuff available from them. For the jerky low end power maybee Tokyo Mod has a map. I have seen some post mentionning that maybee a recall on the ECU will occur. In the latest MXA they tested the CRF450R and said that after Honda rebuilt the motor the power output changed a lot... No more details.

Two blinks and you're good right? I ordered throttle jockey seat covers as team Honda is using them. Stock linkage seems really good as I talked to the owner of ride engineer about it and procircuit. I went with twin air also as I've used them before and it's fantastic.
I did ti- footpegs by raptor' went to procircuit and did the suspension and made those front forks real A kit. Ported and ti rods and piston as well. Kept the stock clamps but used ride eng. bar mounts and laced in some dub hubs on
My stock rims. No need for black as that shit chips and scratches. Then added yoshi exhaust.
Best bike I have ever ridden in my
Life. Last add is some ARC levers and I'm done.
Nothing but laps now and fun.

Might as well bubble wrap the frame and cases while you're at it. Also, I would be wary of shifting out of first gear otherwise you run the risk of possibly scuffing your tires.

Surprised to see that you're running both the front brake lever and the rear pedal; those parts could easily be removed and kept in new condition, the same goes for the seat and clutch lever(gonna have to bump start).

Guy I was pitted next to took to his tank with a Mapp/butane torch (not sure what one)

came out unreal, vivid blue/purple hue to it that dissipated along the length of the tank. Bit of a factory touch.

He had a hard time kicking it when hot though, I started my YZ125 by blowing on the kicker lmao.

Hot or cold even in gear and I Still don't have any issues with starting mine. Just a really really lite kick.

Mine too starts better in gear with clutch in than any four stroke I've ever touched. I think alot of people overkick/ stab at the kicker on bikes and it doesn't work real great.

It probably starts 99% of the time with three kicks ( pretty easy, slow, twelve year old kid kicks) cold and sitting for a week.. It likes to start in one easy kick in gear with the clutch in. Idk if I just got the magic one, or if it starts better in aggressive ( map I prefer) but I ain't craving the button at all, which is actually a nice surprise

The silver duct tape bike is still taking me a bit to get used too but it does cover up the backwards slanting CRF on the shroud. Any plans to add some sharpie graphics on it?
