The electric start comes free here in Finland also (if you order yours before end of February). Seems that this whole electric start thing is the biggest issue for people that are not planning to get Honda anyways
So then talk to whomever brought up the Electric starter. No reason to pop off with attitude.

I asked this earlier but didn't get an answer. Have any of you removed the black tank cover? It's a shame that the titanium tank is hidden under a piece of plastic!

Doesn't matter how many post I have on this site, and who cares what my name is. Been around bikes Mx/Roadrace 40 yrs. I love Honda's, always have, doesn't mean I cannot criticize the company when they do foolish things. And not to include a $2.00 part on a kit, that most folks are going to need is foolish, especially after they spend $600. Ok back to showing bikes.

I think I remember reading that the tank cover is also used as a mounting point for other body panels.

I haven't tried on mine but I think it would look awkward because of the tank shape

The top radiator shroud bolt goes into the black cover. There is no mounting hole in the tank. You could maybe get creative and trim the black cover some but your shrouds may not be as solid.
