Cairoli is certainly on it.
His ride in the second moto, after loosing the back end on a wet, slippery track, is quite the sort of show he's put on over the years. Passed by Coldenhoff, Febvre, Van Horebeek and Gajser. He takes no prisoners. His passes on Febvre and Gajser, were pretty awesome, especially the one on Gajser, with him driving onto the inside, on the off camber inner mound.
It was Classic Cairoli: 'I'm not following', with an instantaneous line change, and then driving across stuff that would have most on their ear.
A good track and very different to last weeks.
I hope they all can come into the GPs healthy, and they all remain so.
I wish they could work scheduling out so this second round, and Hawkestone didn't clash. I'm not sure if I've ever seen TC there.

Three things:
1. Great track. How come many non-GP tracks seem to be able to build a circuit that is spectacular but not choked with jumps, and providing multiple passing places? Why can't GP track designers get this?
2. If horsepower is all-important at the start, as I read here regularly, how in the hell can a 250 get a second place start in the superfinal?

Heard that Anstie is riding the 450 really well to so far, he did great at Hawkstone park race.

2 = 250s are not tiddlers - haven't been so for years now. That's probably a low / mid 50sHP Factory KTM, with a light (Prado - perhaps 50KG in gear, from what I've read of him) rider on it, on a not particularly deep dirt start straight.The 250 2ts, with the right 'pilot' on it, used to do the same with 500 2ts, decades ago. You'd know this Rob. A rhetorical question, I guess? There's only so much power you can transmit through a tyre, into / onto dirt.
3 = 11m11s - wow what? Just asking for clarification. I checked that time on the video (and looked for the Moto countdown insert in the final moto), saw nothing spectacular. ??????
I would love to see Roczen and Tomac + Webb and Dungey in MXoN this year.
It's always hard to know what the top GP guys are showing in these off season races though.
And I think you're right Bearuno, I don't think he's ever raced Hawkstone Park. He's probably the only GP guy not to have done so.
