Anytime a rider loses a factory ride they should look at what Deano did this year. He didn't complain, he went out and made it happen together with a few sponsors helping out and his dad wrenching for him.

Respect for Dean and well deserved factory ride!

Really happy for Deano. Put the hard work in and got himself to the races and now he's got the ride he deserves. Way to go Dean. Looking forward to outdoors to see how he can do

Absolutely right. He's been a lot more humble the last six months or so so hopefully he'll continue to be.

Good luck Dean.

Weird.
I just watched a new(I think) video of Dean practicing on his Yamaha, that was posted on YouTube this morning.

Anyhow, congratulations to him and Husqvarna.

They should hire his Dad in some facet...

Semi off topic. Since he was on the KTM for some time, do they keep a log of all the setting that worked for him? I would imagine they translate pretty well. Given the team makes strides every year....
or
Do they hand him the bike that they have been testing and go from there?

Falling off the factory radar will do that, I'm sure.

Good on Dean though. I hope he appreciates what he's got, and reward Husky with some top-5's.

Pretty cool. He should really thank Pourcel for becoming completely uninterested in supercross.

This in Racer X... So everything official now Good!! Best of luck to them! I thin Bobby is such a good guy, always believing in guys some would not

Per the team, Pourcel will miss the remainder of Monster Energy Supercross as he recovers from a neck injury sustained at Washougal last year.

“I’m very excited about this opportunity, and the ability to take a little more time to recover from my previous neck fractures and prepare for racing,” said Pourcel. “We have been talking about this transition for quite some time and now is the perfect time. I’m looking forward to my future with Husqvarna and the role I will have with them in their new efforts in Canada. I would like to send a special thanks to Bobby Hewitt, as well as everyone at Rockstar Energy and Husqvarna Motorcycles for their continued support through my career.”

Where'd all the "would you pay to go to work?" guys go? Invest and believe in yourself and good things will happen.

Dean's comments:

(PART 1)Well it was a hell of a run!! Thanks for everything Dad. I want to thank everybody that has helped me along the way. Thank you Mum, Sarah, Tony, Casey, Big Sam, Bj, Keith Mccarty with supplying me with 2 bikes thank you Mitch for your continuos support and always having my back, Dyno Dan, craig at pc for saving me to practice during the week a couple times. jon for bringing parts to his house thank you nick/jer for the ballin tour bus. Good on Rockstar Husky and good on Dean!!! Dean deserves it as he's put in the time and effort.

Think Roger is happy or not? I hope Dean beats Marvin every race.

Serious. I have literally 1 contact. That's it. I don't claim to have any inside info. Except this, I said this days ago. Maybe it wasn't finalized, but it was done.

Bobby has a 'humorous habit' of giving his riders nicknames. I wonder what DW15 will be............

Anderson - El Hombre
Davalos - Juan Pablo
Osborne - Sally
Pourcel - Magic Man

Great for Dean and I'm glad they found a good solution for Pourcel. He's a world class rider and it goes to show you that his injuries from last season are still affecting him. He will be tough to beat at the Canadian nationals!
