Best part of the whole night was when Nick Wey said he was going to donate his racerx gas card to Dirt Works so they would have enough money to build actual jumps on the track next week. ha,ha. It was great.

Track was so dumb and one lined that it made for horrible, boring and slow paced racing. There wasn't one rhythm section on the whole track and every one from bum-fck nobody to James Stewart was doing the same exact thing around the whole track.

And why can't they use the entire stadium floor?? Every year at SF we go hoping it will be better and it is the same shit. 1/4 of the floor over in right field isn't even used. I think there were only two true 180 turns on the entire track. It did't look as bad on TV, but in person it was driving us insane. It is no wonder that the person who hole-shot won all but one or two of the races the whole night.

"And why can't they use the entire stadium floor?? ".. maybe it has to do with drains or something that cant have weight (like dirt) put on it.. it basically comes down to what the stadium says you can and cant do.. becuz the ama is only renting the facility for a few days.. im just sayin

then use a stadium that you can make a whole track and not just 2/3's of one... I'm just saying.

San Fran needs to go. That race has always sucked and they hate dirt bikes in that city anyhow.

That track might have been less than perfect but I would love to have that track to ride on compared to the shit we call race tracks around here. The start was key just like it is 99% of the time in sx.

There were a lot of options out there and if you're confident in your jumping ability you can definitely set yourself apart, but it will be tough to be consistent. The track designers did a good job on this one.

I thought the track looked like it would be fun to ride when the 250s were on, fun for me, that is, not a professional SX rider. I agree it totally sucked balls for pros to be racing on.

I though Nick Wey's problem was the lack of linkage? He's proving every one of you that said that wrong each week.

It was possible to pass for 450's but the 250s did not have a chance if their speeds were close. You could see that some riders were visibly faster on the track and lap times but when they caught up it was the end of the road.

If you cant tell by now, all the tracks so far ths year have suck big time.
I have already said that this has to be the best year of racing that turn out to be the worse.

You guys bitch when everyone is so spread out then you bitch when the track is tighter and harder to pass to make better racing. Find a different sport you wussies.

I definitely didn't care for the track this year either. Now if everyone had to ride 85s that would be a good race

I think every track needs to have something that separates the good from the elite. And has a wow factor for the fans.

Tracks like SF will kill our sport, it's no good for the riders and it's boring for the fans. Pro Supercross riders are amazing and need challenging tracks to show case their abilities on a motorcycle and draw in non-moto fans, of course easier said than done.

But hopefully there are better tracks to come.

in practice and qualifying, loads of riders were falling. But for the fans I can see where the track was boring with the lack of technical jumps and lower speeds. Regardless its been a better San Fran race compared to years past with the weather issues

My understanding for not using more of the space for track space is insurance reasons.

The track plans on the website that show track layouts thought SF was going to be a mudder and planned for such. Too bad the dirt was primo in many places.

'03 and '04 were rainfree and the tracks at each SF event then were longer and dry that I recall.

Quite a good crowd; some empty seats, but not as many as I would've thought with our economical problems.

Agree track like following who's in front. Not good. Turns were too narrow.
