Seems like everyone I know have been wanting a real sx/mx game with a realistic career mode and real tracks! I mean in NCAA 14 when you start your career mode you play your high school playoffs then select a college to go to depending on how good you play. Why cant we get a MX career mode where you race Loretta's race sign with a team, and do your 250 career and get sponsors depending on how good you are and all that. Didnt MTX Mototrax have a career mode where you got sponsors and moved up to better teams? Seems like everyone has been wanting a game like this for years, how do these developers not realize this, why cant they get like last years tracks layouts and all that and put it in a game? What do you guys think? BTW i know MXGP has a good career mode and stuff but I want the US series not the GP series!

I'm not sure if there will ever be one like you're wanting, though. MXGP could do something similar with the EMX250 class, but I doubt that will ever happen. And the MX vs. ATV series isn't really based around an immersive/realistic career mode, so I don't think they're going to go make it a priority any time soon (if ever).
You also have to consider that all of the MXGP tracks, teams, etc. came with one license that Milestone bought. If a developer wanted to make a licensed U.S. based game, they'd have to individually license A LOT of stuff. A developer isn't going to want to go through all of that for a game that will sell less than 750k copies.

The simulation games have come a long ways. You could always try the Simulation games; MxBikes and MxSimulator.
I like your ideas though, would be a lot of fun.
It's kind of the same problem as getting casual fans to enjoy watching it on tv. There's so many small nuances that as someone who rides you can really appreciate what these dudes are doing, but as a non rider it's really hard to grasp what the pros do.
One thing I like about hard enduro is they let the regular joe schmo's ride with the pros, so you can appreciate the pros more because they're flying up the hills of Erzberg while the 3rd wave of riders is flopping all over the place.
Not sure if dense or just trolling.
Pit Row
Hands down, the best MX game ever made
you'll have one side saying "play MX Sim bro, it's realistic as fuck bro"
you'll have another saying "i don't have 40 hours per week to put into learning how to not fall over in MX Sim bro"
you'll still have one side saying "i don't want realistic, i want something fun right out of the box"
same argument as the Battlefield vs COD players.
different strokes for different folks.
me, i still like the MXvsATV series but nothing like jamming down on some Excitebike
mx sim on the outside is a very bland simple arcade game....but if you commit to it, get involved with the forums, do a ton of reading. you will be occupied for hours getting your bikes/skins/tracks setup. Once setup, It becomes very addicting. most realistic physics and gyro effects that mimic real life situations. My only bitch is small contact in game usually ends up in yard sales.
the big draw is the current track support....which lately has been monetized. I used to download the current track, race my ghost for hours trying to beat its time then watch the race. Now since they are charging for the seasons/track downloads. not so much.
They also have a great career mode where you start as a wild card rider for Moto3 and work your way up to MotoGP. Each bike has its own characteristics, teams offer you contracts based on your performance, its crazy good. Why not in MXGP?
It's a matter of putting together the right team and getting the project approved.
I've pitched MX games to almost every company I've worked for, and unfortunately have not succeeded in getting approval, and budget.
It's ridiculous that there isn't a game with a good career mode (I haven't checked out MX Sim lately). Creating the game play and physics are by far the hardest part of developing a game. The seasons are easy.
This is the Glen Helen replica for the game. I've been having lots of fun on this track!
