Advice needed ! Wide fitting MX Boot ?

Got geared up this morning ready for a long day riding the trails after a long spell not being in the saddle and found my boots no longer fit ! They are Tech 10's and i have had them quite some time now but they have always been a squeeze on the width. I have tolerated them but after a good spell not riding, my feet seem to have spread to the point where i cannot tolerate it. Days riding cancelled and shopping for fresh boots tomorrow. Any advice lads ??

Gaerne SG12. I really struggled in sidis width wise. I was in agony all day in them tbh. The gaernes are amazing and feel much much wider!

I have 15 EEEE feet amd found size 16 AStars trch 7 fit perfectly. You also might want to try taking turmeric and doing some walking or jogging in good fitting tennis shoes and then retry your boots before buying new ones. Also try your tech 10 without the inner booties. My tech 8 fit better without them after a while off the bike.

When I buy from the redwing store, I need the 11EE+ width.....always on sale in that size, go figure...? I have to wear New Balance shoes like the senior citizens as they offer the extra width sizing. My feet are mostly like squares. That rumor of large feet, large hands, large...is not true.

I have some older Gaerne sg10's that were conformable from the first time I put them on. I did not need to go to a larger size, the size 11 sg 10 was amazing and I'll cry if they ever wear out..

The only other choice I had was to buy cheap, then soak them in rubbing alcohol while my foot was in them.

Another vote for Gearne. I have a wide foot as well and my SG12's have plenty of room in them.

I am also in the market for new boots so I have been doing some research for skinny feet. I just watched this video yesterday. Cliff notes- Tech 7 and Gaerne are probably your best bet.

Another for Gaerne. I've had a couple of pairs of Sidi's before and were OK, ordered in a set of the replacement sole Crossfire 2's and they were super narrow. Ordered the non replacement sole variety as I heard they are wider from another thread on here and they send a pair 2 sizes larger than what I wanted. Ended up getting sick of the dick around and took a set of lower level Gaerne React off the shelf on sale when I couldn't wait any longer. Don't think I could be happier really and they were less than half the price! I'm a fan.

I have a wide foot as well. I find that Alpinestar Tech 8s fit awesome. I would just try everything on and see what the suppliers return policy is just in case they don't work out.

Another Vote for the Gaerne sg10,best boot ever, didnt get to try the SG12 but imagine the same but slightly more confortable - somehow, couldnt afford those anyway.
I could not even get my foot into a TECH 10, and the SIDI were rubbing blisters on my toes within 10mins of walking around the shop!

i am a size 9.5 EEE. Nothing ever fits me comfortably right out of the box. The Gaernes were pretty close though.

Had Sidi Crossfires which were not too bad. Tried on the Crossfire 2, and there was no way I could wear those, way too narrow.

Bought a pair of Gaerne SG 12's, and couldnt be happier. Great wide fitting boot. Works well with large calves too.

I too went with SG12's this year and they are almost perfect. The ankle is very tight IMO.

I have a wide foot and I have both SG-10's and SG-12's. Both are excellent for wide feet with the 10 being a little roomier in the toe box. That was one of the major points of the 12 was to make the toe box slimmer than the 10 as some people complain of it being too bulky in the front. But it is excellent for wide feet.

As everyone else mentioned, SG10s or 12s. I have a wide ass foot and my SGs fit perfect.

I have some AXOs that are comfortable but hate the metal buckles.

The sg 10 is a bit wider than the sg 12 but both are still pretty wide.
