He's riding the Arnhem SX this weekend so I guess we'll see

In my eyes, Mookie on a 450 is a better rider to have than Wilson, Bogle, Grant, Brayton, etc. He has top tier speed and can win on a the right day.

When has he ever shown top tier speed on a 450?
He did podium on a 450 outdoors. Was also pretty consistent that year outdoors on 450.

Yup Malcolms deal with Geico is not going through anymore according to Mathes and the other guest on the pulpmx show. They all seemed very confident in their answer too. It just leaves me to wonder why earlier today Malcolm's mechanic posted a photo on instagram of Malcolm on a 16 geico Honda wearing seven gear. I want to hear an answer soon already, especially since Malcolm is gonna be racing overseas this week. Hopefully him and his brother end up making a team with seven and honda.

If you listen to the show more closely, they are talking to "Raining Yellow", who is a James Stewart super fan that called in to know the status of JS getting a deal done with Geico Honda. And Matthes said the deal for James to ride for Geico was dead and doesn't know what James is going to do. The show before that Raining Yellow had called in to ask Pulpmx if he had heard if James was rumored to be riding for Geico Honda and Steve told him he didn't know anything or hadn't heard anything, but if he did he would update it on the next show. Well, he did hear something, and deal was dead.
Ya buddy in always digging for info

Malcolm looked to get the same 450 deal Bogle had when he pointed out. Both won the 250SX title the year before. Then there was talk of James being part of the Geico deal, now it's dead. Very valid question.

On the riders list of Arnhem SX he's still on the GEICO Honda, Bogle, the RCH Suzuki.

I wonder if any of the 2017 CRF 450's at the Honda intro event down the road from the Stewart compound in Alabama will make their way east after todays intro???

There has been an inventory issue - but there appears to be a small handful on hand at the demo......

No. Again, James will never ride a 2017 factory Honda.

I think you will hear a retirement presser before SX season starts.

I just listened to the show again and Matthes clearly states he's talking about Mookie and not James...the Geico deal is not going through. It's no longer an option. Then Raining Yellow asks if the Stew Bros are going to be at RB Straight Rhythm and they say Mookie will be in Holland and not sure about JS7.

I can't see the time stamp but it's right before the interview with JBone.

So if James does indeed retire who will Vital bash now? Will we actually talk about the racing instead of how stew will do every week or where he's going or what he's doing or what he had for breakfast??

His fanboys that will be speculating on how he is faster than everyone and would be winning if he were racing...

At this late stage in the game, unfortunately you are probably correct.

But I just can't see Bubba going out this way. No way.

If you're James Stewart fan, I would say get used to never seeing him race a motorcycle again, because there's a real good chance of that.

So it seems like the only option he has now (other than retirement) is to pull a Reedy and start his own team? Not sure if he has the desire to do that, but would love to see it happen.

If he does go that route, he should return to his roots and go back to Green. Would be so great.

Given they are on sale in the public in 2 weeks then I dont think will be an inventory issue after then...in fact they are probably in a warehouse now waiting to be shipped out, or about to arrive at the wharf

As mentioned in the thread I highly doubt JS or MS will be on a factory Honda (or any other factory bike), as to what they end up on (or not) then we shall find out at A1 (if they race). Given JS was going to form a Husky team then I would bet on them racing Huskys if they are going to race at all.

Okay so lets add to list Kawasaki wont help JS7.
Only thing we know he is Seven rider who has Honda to ride his own track... and biggest names of our sport.
