Webb made a mistake and we lost. Anderson is hopefully not hurt, that accident happened and we lost, Martin rode good on the 250F and we lost. The USA lost today, and we as fans also los today. Maybe next year, we will have some better luck. Go Team USA.

Well if he didn't start a new thread you would have one less thread to troll.....

IMO nobody lost today. Today was an awesome day of racing. (Barr the freak accident, that part was truly horrible to watch..) Alot of champions had great rides today. And even the best racers crash, no shame in that. Webb showed very good speed and alot of heart. He's a winner in my book.

That post reminds me of my son's soccer league.... Everyone is a winner... Everybody gets a trophy for trying... Yay...

Awesome day of racing, yes... Some performed above their level, others dropped the ball...

Don't be butt hurt just because he's not starting threads about your heroes. Don't like it (which seems to be the case with anything American related), don't read it.

Coop was riding his ass off towards the end. He was putting it all on the line. I believe had he passed the Kawasaki in front of him and even if Febrve passed him we would of won. I'm not sure but I thought that's how the points were working. Anyways, he put up a hell of a fight. Febrve lucky he went down cause I believe Coop would have done anything to stay ahead of him. Would have been real interesting.

Great effort by USA. Can't ask for more effort. I would have picked Forkner over Martin but Martin ride great. Just think an extra position here or there could make the difference. Good job to all riders from all teams.

FOH. Dude had the weight of the world put on his shoulders for the last moto and all you can do is barely put together a sentance saying he 'dropped the ball'?

I'll try to relate to you... Think about how much pressure you had going into spelling test at school. Now multiply that by 100 and you can probably put yourself in his shoes.

He was under a lot of pressure before the race started. You heard DeCoster in the interview, He said Cooper needs to win. It was all on his shoulders.
Cooper was showing nerves as it took him a while to make moves.. Then Febrve comes up behind and heaps a load more pressure on him. One small mistake and its over.
He'll be a better rider for it.

Like him or not, he stepped up, rode his ass off, and left it all out there with a ton of pressure riding on him. This is the kind of stuff we need, guys that WANT to go to this race, WANT to represent the US. Hats off to him, nothing but respect.

Oh boy, did I touch a nerve? Did I put a good enough sentence together for you? Dipshit!

I was gutted for Coop and the team. He knows inside that even if he lost the position to Febvre but finishes right behind him, the US takes the cup. I don't think he knew that while the race was going - obviously the numbers were fluid and he was just trying as hard as possible to finish as high as possible. All in all, he did his best and that makes me proud of him as an American. Next year, he will be on a mission to take the cup on our soil.

I'm a dipshit for respecting the racer and being understanding apposed to saying he dropped the ball and cost us the win? Just use your brain for once you Neanderthal.

Had Webb gone 2/1, half the people here would be gloating as to how Webb "kicked Herlings' ass." Guess again.

I just watched race 3.
Man I really feel bad for Webb... He did great today, would have gone 4-4 or at least 4-5.
He'll probably win that trophy more than one time in the future

Only a bunch of d bags would be gloating. And I'm sure you could relate with your super doushy comment.

Herlings rode amazing. Webb rode amazing. Many riders and teams rode amazing. It was an epic weekend.

Just stop with the back handed remarks and enjoy seeing the best riders in the world race each other.

If you can't appreciate that then you are an idiot.

Webb is a total stud, and he is an old school racer's racer. In 10 years time we will look back on him as one of the great riders in our sport. Team USA dug deep and was very impressive. Nothing but horrible, terrible luck and they were still so close to winning.

Team Canada into the A final with a kick ass ride by Benoit! Way to show and compete boys.

An amazing day of racing in all, and anyone who can be critical of today is an asshole.

Congrats to France. Gotta be good to be lucky, and Team USA had some good fortune along the way for some of their wins during their streak too. This is why you line em up and drop the gate.

Webb rode his heart out. He was doing everything he could to win it wwith pride on the line. Nothing but respect and admiration for him doing what he did for the team. No apologies needed Cooper.

Webb did nothing wrong. He was going for it like he should. With Anderson getting hurt it changed the game. Podium, podium, podium. Next year we will give them hell.
