A Belgian source told me that Jason Anderson broke a few toes. He will race tomorrow, but I don't need to tell you that this isn't ideal.

Damn! I'm out of the loop, what did he do?

Anyone know what foot it is? If it's his right foot I would think that's better than having to shift with broken toes.

It's a painful deal. I've had broken toes. I think he'll get through it just fine with the help of pain killers.

There is nothing that can't be fixed by some kinesio-tape, Lidocaine and maybe some Paracetamol and Ibuprofen. I don't know if Oxynorm is illegal, but if it isn't it will probably to dangerous to give a rider that.

Didn't they used to bring a 4th guy as an alternate?

Maybe that was way back when ...

Yes there used to be an alternative, this turned out to be a good idea, so they canned it.

Jeff Emigs Keys to the Race:
1. Get a good start
2. Don't crash break your foot

Watching slide by slide it seems sh..t started when Anderson's front wheel encountered Bobryshev's back wheel

Anderson was the sports' "ironman." Until he got hurt in MX this season, he hadn't missed a race in his pro career. He had more consecutive starts than Dungey. Hope this doesn't severely affect his riding tomorrow.

Could you imagine if a pro actually used blisters as an excuse?

He needs a lidocaine toe wrap. Someone needs to page Roger and give him this info. You can't feel your toes when you're riding anyway.

He's allowed pain killing injections, I remember Cairoli had them after he broke his wrist at the start of the first Moto in 2011

I'm just glad it wasn't his foot.

Toes aren't so bad.
