It's not about where your at, but what you had to go through to get there.

Coop rode straight through all of Europe, cruised right on by the sandbagger, and wonGrinning

That is getting owned.

Welcome to the party Herlings.

Did cooper's mom drink a lot when she was pregnant? Cause I feel like his eyeballs get further apart every time I see him
Stop spending so much time humping goats and get around something with both eyes on the front of their face.

Obviously she did.. A gallon of piss and vinegar every day.

On a serious note, I've never seen someone come from so far behind catch Herlings and leave him like that. Wish Webb and Forkner wouldn't have got tangled up in first moto, Herlings was handed a gift in that one.

Hearlings is lucky the rest of the top 10 AMA 250 guys didn't show. He wound of been fighting for a spot outside the top 5! Maybe he better race the MX2 for a few more years!

As much as I loved seeing Webb run down Herlings(Was kick ass) and I think there is a real chance of him losing Glen Helen as well and not winning while he is here in the states I get a feeling that all of us making fun of him is like poking a T.Rex with a stick and inevitably it will bite us. I just hope its not at the MxDN.

It's bizarre how fans on both sides can't just seem to appreciate three great riders despite where they may live or country they are from. I don't get it at all. Appreciate greatness. Forkner, Webb, Herlings can win on any given day on any track anywhere (Forkner is young but he seems to be on his way to joining Webb and Herlings). One race, one Moto, one year does not define a rider. Just enjoy the great races! It's rare we get to see these guys go at it!

Atta boy Webb!!! Going out with a bang!!!!

Just woke up and watched the race on a MXGP-TV, but it doesnt have last 5 minutes of racing.

I said in a race thread that there is absolutely no way Webb will just mail it in. None.

where were all the 'mericas and usa when that euro dude embarrassed the entire ama field for 20 motos this summer? Grinning

as I said in the other topic, herlings won a moto (yes, you guys already forgot that) and webb won a moto but more importantly it was great racing and that's what it is all about!

Great ride by Webb - He is truly showing talent and resolve. Its a pity this race meant different thing to Webb and to Herlings - Herlings riding for Championship - Webb riding home race last race nothing to lose. So cannot really call it on the results of this race. On paper it look look - In reality not really a Herlings v Webb race at all. Still good on Webb would stand in his corner versus Helings any day. How do the Pro Circuit production rule bikes compare to the Full Factory bikes now that is totally awesome.

Yep. He nearly lost to a 15 year old last week too so maybe he's losing his touch? Smile

I like that Forkner kid, he's a cool cat.

Of course this is true but some have been talking about Herlings like he's the second coming of Christ so you've got to rub their noses in it a little . It's all in fun . Who knows maybe he runs away with it at Glen Helen.

No one is proud of the new world champ with his bogus title , mx fans are only wondering why he is not in the A class?

we're not proud of him laying waste to a bunch of pussies , same what we'd think of Kroc if he never left the B class

But after watching the nationals in Canada this past summer, with all the washed up A-class talent there , it's safe to assume that the CMRC is the new B class

I want to call the FIM the new C class but that's a tall order , those gates weren't full and the riders were far from pro

It's just like monster to showcase talent

That's why anyone who is a good rider who stays in the FIM is a sandbagger

The series is a show and the show is made up of the best motocrossers showcasing the sport of motocross - not competing in it!!

it seems the FIM picks the winners before the series starts

Having Eli out there was counterintuitive for the series!

The last time anyone tuned into one of these amateur fests was when the last American monster rider was there!

That was a weak race on a Horrible track!

And mxgp2 as well! Coop 19th to 1st?

Jeff would get eaten alive in the USA nats & then he'd end his career injured in supercross - the end

Best to just stay a big fish IMO , same goes for Tim as well

Leave PRO mx to the Americans. (Period)

haha this is true.. I thought the second moto was gonna go very similarly to the first but wrong I was

But I don't think Herlings will do much better at Glen Helen, I remember in that Tickle's one lap of Glen Helen vid he mentions how hard it is to ride there and read the dirt if you've never been there before..
Although I'll bet lots of money he'll cross the finish line before Webb does haha

If anyone cares here's the vid

Unreal, that dude is just unreal. I was there. he was BURIED in moto2. and he ended up being the 2nd fastest rider (lap time) in both classes besides ELI and the only rider besides eli to turn in the 1:49's. No other ride was in the 1:40's but eli. Thats freaking impressive. Chest protector straps flapping and all. This dude is on!

Forkner was also impressive but will have to develop the stamina. You could see that his style changed with about 7 minutes togo. I assume he was just gassed.

He was 7th after lap 1... The only euros he passed then before closing in on Herlings were Seewer and Bernadini.
Herlings did pretty much the same thing in moto 1. They shared moto wins. That's hardly getting owned.

Yea- not sure anyone 'owned it' exactly- damn close and good racing really- great to watch.
Credit to Forkner as much as those two also- younger and seemed as fast at times. He doesn't seem to really fade much either, which you may expect being a younger guy. I guess really Forkner led those races quite alot more than the other 2 did! He could have grabbed the overall also. Great racing between the 3 of them.

The difference is in Moto 1, they started together. In Moto 2 Coop had to come from last & run him down. If that's not getting owned, I don't know what is?

Forkner owned it! Didn't expect him that good honestly. Battling with Seewer would have been a good race for him already as a rookie
