Reed being on the box in MXGP in 2016 is a fairy tale.
Supercross specialist Chad Reed taking it to outdoor greats Ryan Dungey and Ryan Villopoto in the nationals in 2011 was a fairy-tale too, but that's what happened up until the Chadapault.

well that's true, but he had something to prove and was willing to throw whatever he had at it. The chadapult brought him back down to earth......

He's a talented dude, but if you are looking for a top ten you are mistaken.

You do realize he had a decent points lead in 2011, right up until the Chadapult. 08, puleeease! Smile

herlings will throw down faster laptimes on his 250 than reed. I don't think reed will care about the race. his goal is sx, nothing else.

I definitely agree, but not on the top ten part.. I don't particularly think it's likely, but it wouldn't shock me assuming he has his full race bike and not the stock one he rode in Europe.

Reed riding with a chip on his shoulder, something to prove and a burning desire is capable of anything. He has none of those things for this race so I would expect top 15. If he races.

BTW I couldn't be a bigger Reed fan, I'm already counting the days till A1

Herlings may throw down faster lap times than all.

Going by his comments on Pulp and like the majority of the US guys, he really doesnt even want to be there.

I say more chance of seeing him in the bar than on the start line.

NONE of the AMA guys wants to be there. They have made that abundantly clear. Part of why I struggle to get very hyped for these rounds. The AMA guys have a season behind them now, and are looking forward to the next paying season and by Monsters grace, a little downtime. People expecting some pride filled dogfight between the AMA and the GP guys are kidding themselves. You won't see it, and nothing will be proven. Save the pride and shit talking for the MXDN. Guys don't really want to be there either, but they wont be phoning it in like they will at these two GP rounds. Hell, guys were phoning it in last weekend at the final actual points paying National. They're over it.

He said on the Pulp show that he would definitely be there. Whether or not he'll actually be racing is the question.

He's out of shape and is racing them because he has to.

Reedy won't be 100% til A1

You're talking 6 seasons ago, including 2011. I'm not saying hes not fast, but podium fast outdoors is another story. He was at the tail end of his prime in 2011. Midway through SX he will be 35.

Well I am glad he will be there and looks like after a miserable Friday things at gonna change for the better and boys should have ample time to get track ready by sat around 5!!! Don get to many chances to see some of the best riders from the other side of the pond right here in your backyard and I'm pumped to be going!! Saw our two riders get there red plated two weeks ago at the creek and hopefully will see heir two gets theirs this weekend here in charolette and that will be something to remember!! Anyway, tomac, savatgy, and a few more may not want to be there but I can guarantee ya that our boy Coop came to play and probably Barcia as well and that's good enough for me as those euros will race anywhere hey line up!! Peace out and hope to see everyone there!!
