Hold on a minute guys. Your blaming the wrong people in this instance. My research and others says the AMA has nothing to do with the Pro Nationals!

AMA in Ohio only sanctions the Amateur racing and not the Pro racing. Daytona Motorsports group purchased the Pro Nationals from the AMA and when they did they got the right to use the logo of AMA Pro Racing. So AMA Pro Racing is the sanctioning body and not the real AMA.

I know it is confusing and the Pro Nationals wants it to be that way. As far as I know the AMA in Ohio is not involved other than they hand out the rider lic.
Agreed. I would guess this is a call that Davey can make. He let riders use a new yz125 or 250 a year or 2 back even though it technically wasn't on the allowed list. Only the older (up to 2013 or something) were homologated. I sincerely don't understand why everyone always says it is the AMA's call when it is his show and his call. I believe he has gone outside the AMA rules for classes with Loretta's. So why not here?

The only downside is if Roczen gets a podium on this bike equivalency will never happen (not like it will anyways) becuase it will prove that a 250 is competitive with a 450f.

And of course there is this AMA's pesky rule book that dates back to the "other" AMA which the other, the other other AMA says they have nothing to do with anything concerning Pro racing and that MX Sports has full and final say of everything concerning current pro racing. That should clear things up.

1. This makes K-roc the coolest guy on the planet to me...

2. This makes me hate the AMA... At the end of the day, this sport is about fun and making people smile, K-roc racing the old 250 would have been priceless to many consumers like me.

This thread probably will get flushed rather quickly; the previous two threads that suggested Roczen do this had short half lives here. They didn't just go to the Dumbgeon, they were completed erased so that no record of there existence can be found.

As I posted in one of the flushed threads, I'd love to see Roczen do this. But I'd also like to Musquin do it, he's solid in third, KTM has a homologated bike and Marvin knows how to cook with two strokes.

Kudos to KR and RCH if they truly did try to do this.

He may look like another form of Reagan which I like, and I have no clue if he would do good inside the country, but he say so many smart things on foreign politics that you should start preparing your ATK if he gets elected LOL

See my post above about the AMA. It is not the AMA doing this. I know you hear the Pro Nationals say "AMA" but it is not the AMA you and I pay our dues to in Ohio. It is confusing I know.

Cause they are still racing for year end position so their results matter. Kenny is basically having an exhibition ride this week, nothing to race for but pride and sticking another 1-1 in the face of the rest of the field

At first I was thinking, no way would he do any good on it even if they allowed it. His start would not be good. Then I remembered how aggressive Kenny is on the first lap or two. He would make up spots so fast, he might have a shot at getting a podium...

Although he may like $, like everybody, I think they can work something out of all press/footage he will get, which will be like a win, or more. At this point, money is also probably not his focus with the deals he has landed Smile

Cool idea, I wonder what the penalty would be, use the 450 at tech, then go to the first moto with the smoker. I guess. a Dq?

ATK's haven't been made in years, and I fail to see what a heavy, out of date four stroke has to do with foreign policy. Or perhaps it's the made in the USA aspect that was played up back then? (even though engines and suspension at least were sourced from elsewhere)

Can't have a print with dimensions on PDF for each?? It's been proven they don't tear anything down for inspection anymore, it's honor system run what you brung
Really since they measure shit with a fucking tape measure from Home Depot I don't think they should worry about either method

There's no way he would have beat Tomac on a two stroke. But he would probably beat most of the others. It would be cool to see.

This is the kind of stuff that the fans want to see but Honda will not put up with.

I hope he brings it out anyways, takes a $10,000 fine and has fans cheering him on more than stank dog.
