Agree with you guys - likely the best moto of Loretta's. Heck. may be the best moto of the year, period! 21st to 1st in 4 or 5 laps??? That's amazing. All the drama one could ever want right there.

Terry and his boys are smooth, fast, clean racers. They have all passed me many times, often leaving me looking like I'm not even moving. Glad he got what he had earned. Blatant takeout, but props for saying so!

Terry made Wagner his bitch! I don't know Terry personally but I see him all the time at our local tracks, the guy is super smooth and makes it all look effortless! I don't follow the amateur stuff very closely so I never realized how fast he actually is nationally, that was epic.

Terry was not going to be denied! The way he won that, being cleaned out and coming from behind, had to give him a satisfied accomplished feeling. Absolutely inspiring! I've had a chance to race him in Mammoth qualifiers and the Vet World Championships once; he kicked my ass everytime! I liked how the other guy, with slight humility, admitted that he rode him dirty and that that was the only way he was going to beat Terry. Respect!

Smart rider. Most guys would have had the "red mist" and gone for some revenge on that last lap. Dude is quick! That must have been so satisfying.

Terry is one of those riders in a long list of "could've, would've, should've" that never got a chance to show his potential. He battled with guys like Steve Lamson, Tallon Vohland and Mike Pascarella on mini bikes around NorCal in the 80's and turned pro at 15-16. Was instantly a top pro rider, but injury after injury led him into a regular working life instead of a factory ride. One of those "nicest guys you'll ever meet" too...

Your'e kidding right? Brake checking and looking over your shoulder like a bobble head with the clear intention of taking someone out would get you DQ'D elsewhere. It certainly makes you look like a chump to those that race hard and clean. If you don't have the speed get the hell out of the way. Kudos to Terry Bostard for making Jay Wagner look like the bitch he is.

Hey but what really demoralizes the competition is when you're taken out, then you catch that guy and stick the cleanest pass on earth and motor right by him. Then give him a huge high five in the impound. Drop bike. Out. "See you on the podium. "

Interesting, I've seen him around for years but never knew his back story, thanks for the info. I think I've talked to his son briefly and he was super cool, so I would assume Terry is no different.

Terry was actually my first instructor on the track. He's a great rider and also a very patient and helpful teacher. If anyone in Northern California is looking for a riding coach I definitely recommend him.

That was an awesome ride Terry! Keep repping for NorCal!
