Those 2 strokes are so unreliable. Guy was going to win a championship but because he's on crappy equipment it's all over.

Mad bummer he was running 2:07 laps and coming up then you could watch it slip from the 5th lap. ( no video feed, I can only watch the laps)

If they're such crappy equipment why isnt every bike blowing up in the 125 class?

2 Stroke or 4 Stroke ridden at that level are not safe as far as reliability. it's just the way it is.

For anyone that hasn't seen Robbie ride........You should try to do it before you die Smile ......I've personally never witnessed anyone that rides like him......He's so smooth it looks like he's out for a trail ride as he's flying by guys....like Windham but with more injuries. His performance should not be a surprise to people that have seen him moto lately....he rides like butter.. big fan here.

I actually thought that also as I typed that. Only did because I didn't want to deal with all the Trolls around here that would want to argue who is the smoothest. Anyone who saw Robbie in his prime.......Hell anyone that saw him ride yesterday , would know what I'm saying.Smile Injuries screwed that prodigy, and we all lost out.
Saw him in Bercy one year .on the last lap in one race he did a lap 2 seconds quicker than anyone did the whole week end (and MC was racing). The RAW speed he had was just unreal . I still think to this day .he went around some corners faster than anyone has in the history of this sport to this day ,even quicker than JS7 or RC.Such a big shame for the guy with all his injurys .and there was alot

Really sucks for Reynard, just a bad break. He was hauling it those first couple laps. I actually think all the bikes are pretty damn reliable with all things considered.

Not the ending we were looking for. Wonder if they rebuilt that motor between motos, or just ran it as is the whole time. Bummer, no matter what.

dang what a heartbreak.

nothing against the reynards as they do good work, but on this type of event i would think rebuilding the engine at least one time would be worthwhile on a 125

Well, thats why we drop the gate. Bike and rider needs to perform. Congrats to the +25 champ Mike Stryker for bringing the O/A to NY!!!!

Title or not, he's still a champ for even lining up on a 125 IMO. Get 'em next time!!

Even though his bike broke watching Reynard come through the pack on that 125 was moto bliss

I've gotta believe Robert rebuilt the motor---he can do it while sleeping.

I wonder if RR realizes he has dashed the hopes of both the guys that were chearing for 2 strokes to put the beat down on 4 strokes AND he has single handedly save vital from 89 more 2 stroke thread debates over which is better.......

Personally I was just chearing for RR, didn't matter what he was on. He shoulda been wearing that throwback fox gear he used to wear, green and purple
