5 theories about what REALLY happened
Kathleen Zellner, who claims she's righted more wrongful convictions than any other private attorney in the United States in her 20 years of practice, said this week she has new evidence that will exonerate Avery.
"We are confident Mr. Avery’s conviction will be vacated when we present the new evidence and results of our work to the appropriate court,” she told The New York Times.
It's unclear what that evidence might be; Zellner could not immediately be reached for comment.

Heres a real story of being wrongly accused with out it being twisted for ratings.
It's pretty interesting and raises a few questions, but I'm still not willing to say Avery or Dassey were guilty beyond a reasonable doubt!
Here are my thoughts/concerns:
- I think there is an extremely, extremely, extremely minimal chance that Avery and Dassey actually did any of this. I honestly don't think either one of them is intelligent enough or organized enough to fulfill what they are being accused of.
- I actually think Bobby, Tadych, or maybe the ex-boyfriend did it.
- Halbach left that Salvage Yard on October 31st and Avery wasn't the last person to see her.
- Lenk and Colburn had something to do with the murder as well. Maybe just an accessory? I think the vehicle was originally found at a different location, with Theresa inside, and Colburn and/or Lenk moved her and the car to frame Steven. They planted the RAV4 at the salvage yard while someone else burned the body at the quarry (possibly Tadych and Bobby).
- That vehicle was placed at the Salvage Yard so it would be found instantly. Period. Why was Theresa's cousin the only one that was given a camera and she was the first and only one to volunteer to go on the Avery's land. Regardless, someone in that search party knew exactly where that car was.
- How was Colburn able to call in Halbach's license plate number on Nov. 3, but she wasn't found for a couple of days later at Avery's. He had those plates in front of his eye's at the time. That is conveniently around the same time frame that the ex-boyfriend hacked into her voicemail.
- Kratz's Press Conferences were way too scripted and informative. He was setting the stage as to what was going to happen. My wife watched some of this with me and was blown away every time Kratz had a press conference and the things (evidence, accusations, etc.) he was shoving down the media's throat. That is not typical by any means.
- I wish some truth or non-truth to the supposed sex club/cult would've been brought up.
Anyways, that whole justice system surrounding this event/Steven Avery was a load of BS. That being said I couldn't believe the number of pieces of evidence that were left out of the documentary. Avery is not an innocent man by any means, but I truly believe he was innocent in the death of Halbach.
They covered all the evidence and a lot more that the movie left out.
I had my reservations that he did it but after this show i'm certain.
I haven't seen the new show. What evidence was left out?
Wish I could pull up the story I watched last night because it went through the documentary telling the parts on what was left out of the Making a murderer story.
I had a load of questions after watching "Making a Murderer" but the story I seen last night answered them with detailed proof.
I bet the two people involved in making that story said to themselves. "I bet we can sway the viewers into believing they are innocent" and they were right! just gander at all the posts in this thread, over 85% of them are certain they did not commit the murder.
Just like today's media does to divide the public.
Fricken society is gullible to a point they are ready to set a vicious murderers free. If it weren't for DNA Teresa would be alive today. Sad story because she told her bosses she didn't want to go back to the Avery place because of the events that took place the last time she was there. That wasn't in the Doc. along with many other things that took place before the killing but the Doc took it upon themselves to leave these crucial points out to manipulate the audience which they most certainly did as the petition (Which I never signed) Proves.
Hopefully someone can get a link to the "Murder made me famous" the Steven Avery story and post it here.
This is the closest I could find with not much video
I know those guys aren't the brightest bulbs but he things that made me wonder were:
1. With people knowing she was going there, why would they go through so much trouble to get rid of her body and then PARK HER FUCKING CAR ON THE LOT?
2. Where was the DNA, or any forensic evidence, that puts her in the bedroom where she was allegedly raped and had her throat and hair cut?
3. Where was the blood evidence in the garage(that the police went through item by item without finding so much as a speck) where she was allegedly shot a dozen times?
4. The "other" burn site located in the quarry behind the Avery property where her bones were found. Did he start to burn her there and decide he'd rather gather it all up and dump the evidence in his back yard? Or vice-versa?
Also, that Deputy and the former chief of police(and somebody else, I think) were personally on the hook in the lawsuit he was most definitely going to win.
The people he was suing had motive is what I was saying.
What was his motive?
Like I said they did a good job of manipulating the truth.
Left a lot out of the movie that could have easily been added but then their objective would have been compromised.
Motive? for raping and killing a Woman?
Pit Row
Motive,....yeah. There's no telling what makes people tick, I know, but it seems a strange way to go in his situation.
He was free, had a girlfriend, was about to be a millionaire...

Man, Wisconsin is white. Much more homogenous that I am used to.
no amount of money can fix that.
With you repeating the above nine times I don't think your far behind
Teresa's rolling in her grave, well...in heaven saying WTF?
They got it right the first time around, too sad the dip shit Cops couldn't have been patient plus had his attorney there. to defend him and let him know his rights during the interrogation.
That is the only thing that got him off on appeal.
When he gets out I bet he spills what he knows to his Family then the saga continues.
That movie was so far one sided holding back truths that only Media and movie making Fu&$ heads.
Gawd people get a fricken clue.
