Land use planner for a commercial development firm.

Not complicated, but can be very stressful dealing with staff, Decision-Making bodies (Planning Commission, Design Review Boards, Board of Adjustment, City Council/County Commission), and neighbors of the project.

I have contractor oversight for the entire state of Michigan, with over 30 million dollars of contracts to manage amongst 10+ contractors.

I dropped out of college my senior year (2013) to take a job at this company as a union operator, installing large project gas main (2-25 mile projects) in inner cities. I directional drilled main for a year, then ran my own crew and managed jobs as a foreman before I took the promotion to management.

I'm 12 credits short of my Bachelors in Molecular Biology with a minor in Organic Chemistry
Nice - I just had the natural gas public utility installed by these folks in my area last year. It's a huge undertaking. Lots and lots of pipe to run. I started the project in my area, and was almost the last hook up. being 1000' off the road didn't help.

I work at a taconite facility (CN rail) as a foreman, we dump/stockpile trains and load great lakes vessels with iron oar. It's a gravy job that pays well ($33.31/hr), though it's getting old having guys that think they can sit on their ass and go out of their way to avoid doing anything. But the pension/retirement is second to none, and not many jobs can compete in this area. It'd be nice to transfer elsewhere and put my degrees to work.

When I graduated high school I was on my way to med school...then I started taking chemistry and biology and anatomy classes in college, and realized I couldn't do medicine. Took some finance/economics classes and really really like them...and that led me to my current career.

Self-employed. I do graphic design/branding/social media/web design for companies. I'm very lucky that 95% of my clients are in the motorcycle industry. Some of my clients are Moto-Master Brake Systems, Mino Racing, Haan Wheels and Thor MX New Zealand importer. Can't complain.

Small business owner (with partners)- automotive related businesses (towing, auction, dealer, salvage). Have about 60 employees mostly on the towing side.

Also have RE Broker license, but only now active for personal deals. But spent 15 years (1993-2008) in residential development working for large home builders/ developers.
