Part of me wants to see 4 15 minute motos because of all the action we see early on. Save for a few battles, most of the passing/battling is over by that point.

On the other hand when battles go for the full 30 its amazing .

Watching is not what requires the endurance it's being on the motorcycle that the 30 + 2 is supposed to physically test. The 30 + 2 is for Riders not for spectators. If every sport was geared around attention spans there would just be finishes.

I understand that completely, but isn't pro motocross a business? The purses obviously are a telling story of the business. I'm just saying from a business stand point. Cut the race 5-10 min and attract more fans into the sport. IMO. No harm from me guys!

A piss poor idea. Well, at least it made the Moto's the same, shorter length they had been for years, when the MXDN came around. And, the same length as the US Moto's have been for years. I guess it upped the 'intensity'.

I'd much rather see a return to 40 + 2. But I'm old(er) and have a reasonable attention span.

Why am I surprised that a few think 30 +2 is too long? - during the SX season I read, so often, that 12 / 15 minute mains are too long .........Blink
