No thanks.

I thought he was talking about having a mouse in his pocket.

I met Lenny in real life once, thought he had a banana in his pocket, but it turned out that he was just really happy to see me... True story!
When you meet Lenny, he does seem to get a little carried away! Woohoo

That is a really good idea. I suppose times have changed but I've always sold bikes or vehicles from my house. Safety was never a concern. Its a really awesome idea for women though.

Just an update on buying my 15 Yz250 from a "wheelie boy". I have nothing bad to say at all. The transaction was very smooth with no issues. The bike had a legit title, original tires, chain/sprockets and never seen the dirt. Other than a good cleaning because of his chain lube flinging on everything and bald (stock) tires, the bike is like new. I put my black rims on prior to taking pics but the stock rims are like new too (pictured)

Are you selling the silver rear wheel or keeping it for back up? I saw that bike too, I wanted it but I have an 07 YZ250 that's being rebuilt at the moment and couldn't logically afford the 15.

PCp 252, I'm keeping the rims. The black rims are actually for my other Yz .

Must be a Wisconsin thing....

Our local sheriff dept. just set up a internet sales section in their parking lot that has a security cam on it. Plus their front door is only a few steps away if needed.

It's a great idea for both parties involved (buyer and seller)

Looks clean. I would just be worried about the maintenance or lack of it that was done to the bike. Air filter probably wouldn't be an issue if he never rode it on dirt but how often oil was changed. Big thing is what kind of gas? Regular or premium? If I had to guess he was not buying race gas. What oil was he using for mix, what ratio, was he even mixing gas? I would pop that head off and check things out.

The cheapest I found a 16 for was 6600$ and the 300$ rebate. Last minute I found a left over new 14' for 5400$ plus the rebate. Still waiting on it though!! Are you still eligible for contingency if you don't buy new?

Njracer46, if this guy burnt more than two full tanks in the bike, I would be surprised. I would be nervous about the maintenance too, but I don't feel he used it enough to be worried about it.

This guy I beleive tried trading me the same bike. Plus cash on top for my 450. I wouldn't do it. He might own the thing. Who knows. But wheelies aren't good for oil circulation. dont do it.

I assumed it was a 250f...in which case it is a concern. Early yamaha service manual even noted this in the case that pump would starve. It is also noted in the street bike world.

I just thought it's obvious that oil or lack there of has nothing to do with nice outer metal components. Bike does look sweet though.

I think it is safe to assume a guy like that never reved it over 9000 rpm. In gear that is.

It's a two stroke so I wouldn't be to worried. Thing looks clean. Change the oil, inspect the top end, and let her rip. Oh and get a new back fender lol

Wheelies hurt oil circulation in a 2 stroke?
