Funny thing is I still think I have his contact information in my phone and everyonce in a while Facebook will suggest me to friend him. It always takes me a second to figure out who he is.

Cool...I rode many times with RC16 and Marcad at Bithlo and Dade City, both were good guys!

As for RC16, desperate people do desperate things, he got himself into a financial situation that pushed him to where he went. It can happen to the best of us

I used to say the same thing when all this originally happened.

I would bet half of the people who bust on RC16 have taken advantage of some type of insurance, vehicle, hospitalization, theft, work men's comp and so forth

That's bullshit.
It wasn't that RC16 was suing, it's that he LIED about it for so long, even when caught dead on it, then instead of manning up and admitting it and pleading his case of need, he attacked everyone.

I'll never agree with suing a track, especially in his instance, but desperate people can do desperate things, I understand that.

But he lied and lied and lied, and then when caught blamed everyone else and attacked everyone who tried to help him.

Even seeing the name RC16 made my stomach jump. That entire era of Motodrive was a brutal time in moto board history that only those that lived through it can understand. The worst brawls on today's Vital is Disneyland in comparison. There are a few names I wonder where they ended up. Some in jail no doubt

Cain lied himself into a hole he couldn't get out of. Then he showed his true face after people had genuinely felt sorry for him and tried to help out. He had made so many enemies with his abrasiveness, the dogpile wahoo was on like donkey kong.

I don't have any doubt he lurks. Unless a thread like this propels him out of lurk mode to recycle some wahoo, any fond nostalgia is misplaced. The RC16 story is a cautionary tale, make no mistake.

During the whole RC16 debacle I worked at a dealership in Orlando and he was a customer there. In one of our conversations I can remember him saying how Astro Vans ruled and he would never drive anything else. Sort of ironic how his Astro Van caused his demise and screwed up things for other people too.
