That might be the single funniest line I've seen in a while. Nicely slid in there.

That said, if Martin can't race, that sucks.

Unfortunate news or appears to be, http://twmx.co/o0HRuD
"“I don’t have an answer for you now. All I can tell you is that my team is working hard on it now.”

Golly, maybe they should have looked into it more than a week before the race.

ROCKSTAR ENERGY HUSQVARNA FACTORY RACING’S CHRISTOPHE POURCEL AND MARTIN DAVALOS WILL NOT RACE TORONTO SUPERCROSS

Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Christophe Pourcel sustained an injury in practice earlier this week which will require him to remain side-lined for seven to ten days. Pourcel will return to racing at the Detroit Supercross and continue to strive for the podium.

Teammate Martin Davalos unfortunately will not race the upcoming Toronto Supercross due to personal reasons. Davalos, who won the opening round of the 250SX East series and fought for the podium this past weekend in Daytona, has shown he is a serious contender for the title. The current red-plate holder will return for the Detroit Supercross in hopes of continuing his chase for the 250 East Supercross Championship.

Flew from Dublin to London & onto Calgary with my wife & kids (18) & (15) for Christmas 2015 & new year. Staying with friends 1st week skiing 2nd. We were questioned (felt like ever) I thought we were going to put on next flight back. We had to give name & address of friends we were staying with & show hotel confirmation for the 2nd week. Questioned about our transportation while in Canada. I tried to lighten the conversation a little but realised that was the wrong situation to crack a joke. The Mountie or police officer looked about 17, made me feel so insignificant.
Davalos I was going to suggest should fly to London then onto Canada but good luck to him if he tries.
The customs officer(who is not an RCMP(mountie)) was just trying to protect our 2nd most precious resource, which is fresh snow. The resort towns from Banff to Whistler are full Aussies, Kiwis, and Poms in search of the steep and deep skiing, and to enjoy laid back Canadian ski town lifestyle. Lots of Aussie and British guys will snuggle up to a large and less than good looking Lassie(jumping on the granade) in hopes of a nice shot gun wedding, thus landing that perminent residency and scoring a life of good sking, biking, killer weed, and cold beer in Western Canada. I dont know why he would have given you a hard time with your family ? But if you do not have infomation on where you are staying, and when, that could be an issue. I know when I fly to the US, I have to write my hotels address on my customs doccument.

Just swim across Lake Ontario. Problem solved with a bit of training worked in. As the Canucks say, get two birds stoned.

He'll wrap him up in a box. Clear the customs brokers before crossing and if the pars numbers match he is golden. Yes I deal with Canadian customs brokers weekly. Lol

I guess personal responsibility is officially dead? Shame on Martin for not having his shit in order. I like Davalos and was hoping to see him get redemption this year for 2014.

this sport is such a joke sometimes. The MLB has players defecting from Cuba and playing games in Toronto 3 months later no problem.

Husky has no one to blame but themselves.

Exactly what I was about to say! All you guys putting this shit on the team and saying this guy or that guy needs to be fired... and how do all of you running your mouth know they haven't been working on it? Oh that's right you don't but you sure as shit act like you do! Sounds like a lot of you still have your mom pack your lunch then get pissed when she didn't pack your cheesy poofs!

Why the Hell would he race East, then? Basically piss away any shot at a title before the championship even kicks off.

Doesn't surprise me Mama C! I've dealt with immigration on both sides of the border and they take their sweet time.

ding, ding, ding!!!

You guys shouting personal responsibility should take a hint from Johnny Ringo. Baseball players play baseball. Their teams handle all of the travel logistics, regardless of the players' nationalities.

It's the Agent!!!

Not the team..It's not Canada! Get real people...

The rider is an independent contractor thus the responsibility of entering the country is on the rider.

There have been SX and MX GP races in Canada since the 70's. DeCoster, Lackey, Bobby Kiniry, Damon Huffman, RC, and others have come and gone with no problems...someone in Martin's inner circle dropped the ball.

Then he shoulda been working on it for 12 months!

What? is he here in America illegally? Because passports aren't that difficult!

If he's here legally, he can easily get back in.
If he has overstayed his travel visa he has real problems.

The problem is him getting back into the USA, I don't get the comments about Canada not being tolerant.

Canada will let everyone in.....if he's here legally, he shouldn't have any problem getting back in
