Could be moto related enough for me. Interesting look as the old Titan was getting ....well, old.

It looks a lot like my 2010 z71 Colorado, which I like. I dont really care for the styling on the new Colorado.

My first pickup was a Nissan and I loved it. Id certainly consider getting another one someday. That one in the pic looks cool.

How does it compare to my 1998 Ford F-150?

Is that the model of Ford that blows the spark plugs out?

That looks mean. Diesel and solid front axle would be ultimate.

That looks a lot better than the standard new Titan. I think Nissan is going way overboard with the swoopy, chrome-laden designs. This takes all that away and goes back to a harder, edgier look. Bro.

I think he has too.

The prices of new pickups are quickly getting too expensive for me. If I put 15k miles a year on my pu rather then 25k miles i might be able to justify these prices. If i buy a $50,000 pickup I dlike to drive the thing as much as possible...not just look at that $50,000 truck sitting in the driveway that I know i cant afford to wear out in 7 years and spend another 50k.

My ride, 2001 F-250 with 215,000 miles....just sayin'. Still love my old truck but have been wanting something new. I get to test drive new model vehicles weekly here at work as we repair them and I have to say there are not many new trucks that impress me as far as ride quality and rattles. Some seriously overpriced stuff out there. New military grade aluminum Ford F-150? They don't dent, the aluminum just cracks, rips and tears. Door fit/gap/alignment is pretty much shit on them.

But yes, I have bought some neglected pieces of property.lol

As soon as the other boys can get their hands on aluminum, that's all you will be able to buy is aluminum trucks.

Definitely going to be commonplace throughout much of the industry. Collision repair will be "fun" over the next few years as we adapt. Just can't wrap my head around a $8000.00 battery powered self piercing rivet gun when I see how long a Makita battery actually lasts.Sick

My father in law is an ICAR instructor and tells of horror stories on the battery powered self piercing gun. One of his shops he deals with a lot had one and while installing a body side the gun didn't have enough power to send the rivet all the way through. They didn't have another gun. Had to remove the side, clean up all the glue and wait for a new gun to arrive. He also says when they are low on battery they can damage the piece trying to push it through. He advises to go with an air one.

I'd rather have one of these again. Mine was a '68 with the 1300cc and a Holly carb.

Zero to sixty....yeah, it'll do that.

Aluminum trucks are the equivalent of 4 stroke mx bikes.

Ive got one of those too. 2004 F150, and yes, plug dropped in one of the cylinders coming back from a race years ago. Put a new motor in with 100k warranty for $1500 and it is still going strong, My son drives it now.

I understand newmann's frustration with having to get new equipment, materials, etc. But what's with the consumer's hate on aluminum?

Real trucks have had aluminum bodies for decades...

I do like my 15 f150 but yes, the gaps are so so at best. You get a slight wind leak on the highway depending on the wind.

The suspension also leaves a bit to be desired, I'll probably upgrade to a fox shocks setup which is said to make a big difference.

Good power out of the 385hp 5.0 though, Ford is so pro ecoboost the upgraded coyote wasn't even advertised at all.

I went with the V8 in my '15 too. I'm definitely pleased with it. I hear ya on the suspension. It's great in every day driving and surprisingly good off road, but it's noticeably bad driving over expansion joints and hard chatter like that. I'm thinking of going the fox route on mine, too. I haven't pulled the trigger yet because I was thinking about waiting to see how the new Bilstein 5100's will be when they finally get around to releasing them. I'm sure they won't be on par with Fox but they might be good enough for what I need.

Fit and finish of the exterior will improve on aluminium vehicles dramatically ,The new material combined with the high volume they are achieving is nothing short of amazing .
