I've always wondered, why did FMF drop the bar brand?

You're right but I do miss the flex after going to Twin Walls again. (had to because KTM is oversize)

My next project is going to be 7/8's again because of weight and flex.

That said the Factory 909 label always looked a lil cheesy for some reason? That Renthal logo though looks beautifully simple.

Why not just stick with the 1 1/8?

Unless you really care about having a crossbar, fatbars have more flex, are stronger and lighter than 7/8" (unless you use a really heavy pad).

Tried Pro Taper in '92 and haven't bought another bar since. Once you go fat, you never go back!

I've played around with fatbars, twinwalls, and 7/8th. bMe and my dad had identical bikes but mine had twinwalls and his fatbars and I rode them back to back and really noticed a difference. I prefer crossbars so I tried 7/8s and just wasnt happy with the way they felt so I started running fatbars fulltime for the flex and comfort. Fast forward to 2014 Pro Taper came out with the Fuzion handlebars and I'm sold. Unlocked they have just as much flex as my fatbars, locked they are stiffer than any other bar I've tried. I run them unlocked; flex and strength of a fatbar with a crossbar. Happier then a pig in shit. I recommend them to people all the time!

I had the gunmetal set in like '05. Bent the shit out for them. I still have a set of fresh 909 grips somewhere in my garge.

I like the Rigid Twin Walls, but I gotta admit, I am impressed with my current TAG XT1 bars. They have the Rigid feel of the TwinWall but reduce Vibration. I mean like they really noticeably reduce Vibration, even with the stock KTM grips...
