I think what he means is, 30 or so years ago, the 65 foot supercross triple was usually only attempted by few of the racers. It would take a jump in the 90-100 foot range in today's supercross to have only a few riders attempt it due to the power of today's bikes vs 30 years ago.

Looks short to me...probably sub 50 sec lap times which really sucks IMHO.

Looks like they didnt use all the space very well this time.

If it was a double, they would be in some trouble when they crash into the sign overhead of the landing. I could be wrong, but by that diagram, there is no way.

I'm not sure what sign you're talking about? The Holeshot marker is right before the first turn, not on top of the landing the roll over on the start.

Yeah, I watched that virtual track map and see what you're talking about. In the first diagram, it makes it look like there is a sign right above that white holeshot chalk.

I'm Super ok with this. Lets try NEW obstacles. new shapes, new designs, new ideas, break the cookie cutter mold we've followed for so long. Get weird with it. What about a set of chicanes, or S turns that are all bowled out? New stuff please!

I remember a guy with number 94 casing a tripple last year, he never realy got back to speed after that hit..

Bring back STL 09, and have former riders design certain tracks such as TP, DV, Larocco, Windham, MC, JOMAMMA etc.

Wasn't it TP who designed the St Louis track? I recall that being a great track!

I'd like to see more variety. Straights with jumps every guy clears exactly the same aren't very interesting.

I dont care if they change it up, make them hard or easy but then we should institute a 20 min+2 lap main. I dont wait all week and stay up late for a 17 min main.
