You guys are all trying waayy to hard, it is simple really. You show up at the track everything loaded and nice thank you OCD, you take a adderral (thank you ADD) and it's on! You won't be hungry, but you will be thirsty so have lots and lots of water on hand! You have plenty of energy to bounce into every double face, your bike will pristine because you want to get shit done in between motos and you can't sit still. You race like a fucking boss who aint taken shit from bill bob who is still wearing jeans and a flannel, and when it is all said and done. You sip your cold beer out of your fifth place C class trophy with pride. Knowing you did everything you could to earn that result.
hahaha

I'll give my son a greek yogurt in the morning (no sugar just berries) or a small amount of oat meal, then give him some mini sweet peppers or nuts / dried fruit to snack on. His lunch (his favorite) is sardines and crackers. That's a typical race day.

Have always taken a grill for the long weekends with deli meat and water. After the riding is over, eat burgers and kick back a beer or 11.

As far as snacks go, peanut butter crackers or ham and crackers

Ive been racing 14 years, and am still a nervous wreck on race day....not during the race, just before it.

with that I can hardly force down an orange.

However, my favorite thing to eat/drink of all time has to be a cold turkey sandwhich with a coors light right after racing is finished....honestly nothing tastes better to me than that right after a day full of racing.

Personally, I like the no bake energy granola cookies/bars.
Bingo. Exact same strategy got me through calculus.

I prefer a nice 3some of a Blonde, Brunette, and a fiery RedHeadWink

One of my roommates in college would take adderral every now and then to cram for a test. I woke up early one morning to take a piss and he was still awake and lint rolling the living room carpet.

Gold fish, the little crackers not anyone's pet! I swear, I always bring one of those big cartons of them every time I ride and snack on those throughout the day. Pretty much always the colored variety, no idea why, but I guess it keeps things PC.

On cold race days early and late in the season my friends mom would would make the ABSOLUTE BEST homemade chicken soup and we'd heat it up on a camp stove. Nothing in the world could compare to that!

Peanut butter and banana sandwich on multigrain bread and frozen seedless grapes. Hydrate with bottle water only. If you have not tried frozen seedless grapes on a hot summer day you are missing out.

A few years ago at the Little Brown Jug Enduro in SC I blew out 2 fork seals, was riding like a goon and just wasn't feeling it. Had an emergency $20 stashed in the bag tied to my gas can, because, well I don't know why.

Got to the gas stop and told myself that my day was shot and I should just go back to the truck. Instead, I grabbed the $20 and rode into town and ate at Zaxby's (for those who have never heard of Zaxby's, it's sort of similar to Chick-Fil-A but still different)... Does that count?
