IT'S ME. I had been in conference calls all week about that ride, and I promised them that I'd give it 110% from the drop of the gate to the entry of the first turn. After that, all bets are off I told them. No bumps, jumps, hoops or dips. Besides, my 49 year old body would argue with that kind of BS anyway. ML/GuyB - do you think there was any money switching hands to allow Jake to change teams? Like a contract buy out?

Usually when there is a fill in rider they are coming from a smaller effort or a "doing it on their own" kind of deal (Like Tommy Hahn a few years back when he filled in at Factory Honda). From the outside Tedder seems like a solid team with a decent budget and support. Or maybe Mr Tedder was OK with giving up an expensive asset like a top level 450 guy and focusing their efforts solely on Dakota?
