Do we know yet who they are teaming up with as far as riders and other info? gear, other accessories...
honestly didn't see brooks going to a "sideshow" (no pun intended) team like that, but they are definitely
going to be on another level this year with brooks apart of the program.
love him or hate him, he has a true passion for the sport.
I hope whoever is on the team, has a great, break out year and we can keep Brooks part of the "racing" community for a long time to come. He's IMO, to good to just work at a motorcycle shop.

What was that last team he went to? That was a clusterphuck of epic proportions if there ever was one. People were quick to bash Sanner the other day but Brooks suffered some of the same fate. Again, empty promises from sponsors. Heck, even before that, the shitfest with JS7. How did that all work out for Stewart?

I for one will be glad to see Larry back in the mix. The sport needs people like him. Go Larry!
Buffalo Brooks ain't no bitch.
I hope Pingree gets to a point where he's settled enough to not need anything from this sport. I have a feeling he'd cut loose..
Best of luck to them but I don't see this working out so well either.
Spot on Newmann.
Brooks ain't no bitch at all. Maybe things went sideways in the past but there's probably a lot that went on there that we'll never know. Drama seems to follow him but the Stewart camp was the other involved in forcing him into "family time" and they are no strangers to drama either. So who really knows what happened? I know I don't.
I know there's not a lot of hype but Benny Bloss seems real fast and Leib - to me anyway - has been on the cusp of running the pace up front. They are on Yamahas, and this team/sponsors have been around for a good few years already so they aren't building from scratch. I am not saying they're going to send Mitch home kicking rocks but I wouldn't be so dismissive either. I think there are interesting ingredients here that could lead to some good finishes.
Personally, I don't always like Brooks' style and might have preferred Kehoe if I were writing the checks. But I respect what he's done in the sport and can't understand how dismissive so many are in this thread. I guess we'll see...
Special thank you to 'neverwas' for buying the product and supporting the cause

Blue Buffalo / Slater Skins Yamaha Sign Benny Bloss
Things are moving quickly for the Blue Buffalo/Slater Skins Yamaha team. Two days after announcing that Larry Brooks would serve as team manager, the team announced it’s first rider today. Benny Bloss, the 2015 AMA Horizon Award winner, has agreed to a deal with the team for the 2016 season.
Bloss, a native of Missouri, will contest the 250SX East Region.
“I am very excited to be working with the Blue Buffalo/Slater Skins Yamaha team,” Bloss said in a team statement. “There's a great group of people behind it and I know that Larry brings a lot of knowledge and experience. With everyone coming together I think we will have a great year!“
“I’m looking forward to working with Benny. I know his amateur career has been a big success and I aim to guide his AMA professional career down the same path,” said Brooks.
Bloss competed in the final round of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross this year at Ironman, finishing fifteenth overall in the 450 Class. Next year will mark his first season in Monster Energy Supercross.
