Hi guys,

just to let you know than Bercy-Lille will be streamed on L'équipe21 just like the French GP and the MXdN were.

The good news is the channel is also streamed online on their site so you'll all be able to watch it in good quality... But shitty language! Tongue

It will be live Saturday at 01:30 pm eastern time in the US, 10:30 am western time.

The Sunday afternoon will be Live to at 09:30 am eastern time in the US, 06:30 am west.

Here is the FRENCH LIVE STREAM link: http://www.lequipe21.fr/direct/

As the site is located in France, there are geographical restrictions, all you have to do is use a proxy (hola for an example who seems really popular) and choose France as country of connection.

No hola app or proxy needed for links below:

Possible LIVE STREAM in English - Motors Tv http://nowwatchtvlive.me/watch-motors-tv-live-online-motors-tv-channel-…

Live Timing - http://live-itschrono.com/live-sx-lille/live.html

Results - http://supercross.motorstools.com/results

The riders list is pretty interesting and the track is a little longer than last year so a bit more "US like" and a little less ArenaX tracks like cause they got rid of the joker lane and the Lille Stadium is larger than Bercy, even if the it is cut in half.

Here is the riders list:

The track:

The schedule: (click on the link under the pic and add 6 hours US eastern time, 9 for the west)

Cheers!

Cool, great news we'll be able to catch some of the action online!
Just ordered my tickets today for the sunday show, busted out some cash to get some really good seats.. Last year i was starstruck by the unreal skill display of Eli Tomac (Dragonsback, destroyed by ET3 wheelying the whole thing .. Front wheel never toutched the ground)

I hope this year will be just as good, Current MXGP world champ Febvre, Current AMA sx West Coast 250 Champ Webb, James Stewart ... We should be in for a great show.

The offseason is boring for the bigger part, but events like this make it bearable Woohoo Woohoo

Sunday afternoon live on Motors TV at 09:00 am eastern time, (06:00 am west). I don't have a good Motors TV stream so...

There will also be a recap of the Saturday night before the live for the insomniacs at 06:25 am east (03:25 am west).

Concerning L'equipe21, something about the Bercy-Lille SX is scheduled during the Sunday afternoon live at 09:30 am east but it's said to be a recap, I just sent a mail to the TV channel so wait and see...

Febvre only started riding Supercross this week, would be very surprised if he was anywhere near the front.
Looking forward to see the other French guy Ferrandis though, hope he can keep it on two wheels this time

Just listened to a Ferrandis interview, he only fell once during the night in Superfinal.
First final he stalled it, second one he missed a corner, was off the track and couldn't find a way to come back on the track quickly.
He's back on the bike only for a few weeks as he was knee injured and just had just received his 450 a few days before. In Superfinal, He said he did a Villopoto in the whoops, he was tired, couldn't dribble them anymore, made a stupid mistake and looped out.

Don't forget to find and test a proxy if you want to watch the Bercy-Lille SX Live on Saturday AND Sunday... Wink

Just had the confirmation that both days would be Live on l'Equipe21.

I added the Sunday schedule in the first post.

I was afraid that might end up being the case with all that has happened today. Guess we will see.

No doubt if they can not insure safety for the crowd. And French will cancel it to honor the fallen. They have already cancelled flights into France and a curfew and closed the Borders.

I hope they cancel out of respect for the victims and their families.

I agree. Once we succumb to the fear, we have given the terrorists what they want. That's the entire point of terrorism. To make us afraid, and shut down our way of life. The best way to react to a terrorist attack is to honor the fallen, but to live life normally.

Would you attend the event as a spectator or even ride when 150 of your countrymen (or even friends or family) died some hours before?

Not sure if many people want to visit a stadium one day after the attack on a stadium close to it as well

I am just curious as to when they will make the decision. Since one is not out by now I'm guessing there won't be any news on whether it is happening until early tomorrow morning (U.S. time).

It's not about winning or losing. It's about keeping people safe. You think we're going to win the war against these ass holes because they decided to go ahead and run the event?

Well right now it's 6am in france. So I guess at least two more hours before they will decide anything.
But I cant imagine that this race will happen (maybe sunday)

Well, yeah kind of. Terrorism is a tragic event, physically. But its intent is just as psychological. Terrorists want us to fear them, and give in to our fears. Make compromises in our life. To answer an earlier poster, yes I would go to that stadium if I was in France. Writers at Charlie Hedbo in France were recently killed for making satirical cartoons against Islam. Freedom of speech, and the freedom to enjoy sporting events should not be shut down due to fear. The greatest way to stand up to terrorists is to show them that they will not scare us out of enjoying our lives and expressing our freedoms. Flame away.

I believe ABC news said the government is putting a stop to all events.

I heard the same. Martial Law, borders locked down and all public events are suspended.
But, that's in Paris. Lille is +220KM away/2 hours by car.

Not all events. "manifestations de voie publique" which I believe are events that use public places.

Also, the borders aren't closed. They just reinstated controls (before that you could freely travel between any countries member of the EU) But that part is confusing because they also mention that schools are closed, as well as any school related travels because of the "closure of borders".

What I get from that is "don't believe everything you read" Especially ABC since you lose something in the translation of info that isn't very clear to start with.

Lariviere are going ahead with event, some 120 miles north of Paris in Lille.
Honour the dead by observing a minutes silence but to cancel plays into the terrorists hands, they have terrorised us into thinking everyone is in danger.
Sat night is sold out and fans come on coaches fron all over the country, many will already be en route, plus track is built, stadium rented, riders contracted abd flown in.
Guess they will tone down opening ceremony out of respect.
Really feel for the French people, familes of victims etc , after the euphoria of winning the MXDN at Ernee just 6 weeks ago!
