Graphics look really good, love the attention to detail in the surface of the Nequen track. It looks like they still have some physics issues to work out, unfortunately.

Don't mind the frog talk Tongue

Clearly the person playing doesn't know what they're doing. With that being said I think it looks awesome I'm excited.

Yea whoever is playing needs some practice. It looks awfully similar to last year's game physics wise. Not quite sure why the wouldn't address the main complaint people had which was in air physics. Still a must have in my book, stellar graphics and unparalleled content. Light-years ahead of mva.

To me it definitely looks like the rider movement is no where near finished, and yeah I hope that they tweak the physics a little bit more as well. Even in it's current state it looks better than MvA SX, so I'm excited for it's release in Feb.

Also since the release date isn't until February, I'm sure they'll tweak several things between now and then.

I absolutely love the current MXGP game but this video doesn't have me chomping at the bit to get the new one. They've got some work to do and games go gold 30 days before release so they don't have too much time...

Yeah, the rider movement doesn't look finished, but it already looks 100x better than the current game IMO. Much more fluid and natural.

That leaves them with 2.5-3 months. Plenty of time to fix minor issues.

Exactly. Milestone seems to actual listen to our feedback so I think they have a lot more development to do. I'm very confident that they'll come out with a great game come Feb 2016.

why does the bike look constantly bottomed out? lol like, the shock doesn't even work. Its completely static.
I was looking forward to this a bit, my son really liked the original.. idk now, doesn't look like an improvement over the last one.

This probably is barely an alpha build of the game. If I had to bet, they just didn't include the shock action for this demo (don't ask me why). Needless to say, the final version that hits the shelves will include a working shock. I hope!

Game looks great, especially for a "work in progress" build. Nice to see a realistic speed. Nice to see that braking and slowing down s required for corners. Yeah, there needs to be some physic tweaks but this game will be amazing and I am sure it will top MXGP, which is the best MX game to date, in my opinion.

Though I would turn it off pretty quickly, I really like the virtual line shown. This came from their MotoGP series. Nice touch. Shows the best line but also shows that the AI probably knows that as well, something the MVA team needs to do as their AI is all over the place, crashing constantly and riding wildly.

Totally stoked for MXGP2!!

Nice to see that MX gaming is such a hot topic these days. Man, if we could ever get an AMA version of MXGP for our Nationals or Supercross series. Davey, you listening? Wink

AMA SX/MX game made by Codemasters.

Or someone fund JLV and some of the Mxs community.

both would be awesome options

Licensing is different for MXGP than AMA. I believe they would have to license pretty much everything individually if they were to do an AMA nationals game. Not sure about SX but I assume it would be similar.

Lol. Dude, about once a month or so I post that exact request on Codemasters page. JLV does a good job but money would be required to do a full, decent budget title along the lines of MXGP. And they evidently hit a home run with an all encompassing licensing which is something that would be more difficult for us, for Supercross at least.

It is still feasible. We need to get Coombs on board. Sports games do really well these days and are a great avenue to expose new fans.

I have heard the same thing as well. I wonder what exactly is different between the two series structure wise?

Ironically enough, in one of their survey polls, Codemasters had Motocross as one of the categories in the "what would you like to see next" question. Not in their most recent one but one a couple years back.

Licensing would be more difficult but it isn't mission impossible. The sport isn't that big. We have had real riders, real teams, real OEMs and REAL TRACKS (though def not 1 to 1 replicas) in ALL of the following games:

1 of the crummy McGrath games...2000 I think
EA Supercross 2000
EA Supercross (kinda easy for the since they were the series sponsor)
Supercross Circuit
Ricky Carmichael Championship Motocross 2001
MX2002
MX Superfly

Heck, even the 2XL mobile Carmichael game had replicas.

Pretty much every game but MVA. That's just freaking weird. And MVA obviously has a working relationship with Feld as Mike does the track maps and also we just saw Supercross (the game) playing a build of next year's MEC track.

Again, shouldn't be impossible. I'm sure there are lots of logistics I don't understand but every other sport has done it and, most importantly, our sport has done it too, in the past.

Game looks good, graphics look great and i like the way the track looks like its rutting up. There was only 7 riders in those races and i would like to see more and i think february is a alkward time to bring the game out, because it will all be based on last years riders, bikes and kit. It also still doesnt look like you lose much time when you crash which makes the rewind function a bit pointless.

Also is that Tim Gajser on a KTM on the title screen in the first minute or is there someone who runs no 243 im the MXGP class?

I think the Gajser photo must be an really old one. Back in his EMX 125 / 250 period he raced for the KTM Marchetti team. Still weird though since he has red bull stuff on in that picture..

Game looks decent for now and fun, they still got some time to tweak it. They jumped lightyears ahead from MUD to MXGP1 so if they do it again for MXGP2 we'll be in for a real threat!

Good question, no clue who that is
I dont think Gajser ever wore Airoh helmets though

Call me a cynic, but I got bored of the physics real quick in MXGP and that looks real similar. The whip/scrub animation is exactly the same as before. No way they change that before Feb, and why is it so slow?! I dunno.. I thought these boys were on the right path, i had real high hopes for this and now I've been brought back down to earth with a bang. Maybe that's a good thing in the long run though..

As for Codemasters making an mx game.. No thanks. Sure it would look pretty, but it would be a pure arcade game. Like Mud on steroids. Or a Monster Energy drip.

Yes even without knowing any french, I did recognize that.
So no loopouts in this game...?

The speed of the game is realistic. The MVA games are way too fast, especially Supercross. Notice n the MXGP2 video he rarely gets out of 1st o 2nd gear. It's a newcomer playing it. No worries here.

I think it will be better than MXGP which is already, overall, the best thing out there for MX.

It looks like the bike physics didn't get much tweaking. Thinking that this will get an overhaul in the next couple of months before production and shipping is wishfull thinking.

Everything else about the game is top notch.

The cornering looks the best I've seen from any game, just hope they can improve the movements when jumping. Tracks look very realistic too. I might have to pick this one up.
